SNK Playmore turns around to report a profit
Good news are coming out from SNK Playmore.
In their most recent annual report, SNK Playmore is reporting that their revenue is up 27.8% year-over-year, with a net profit of 290 million yen. This is a huge turn around, considering last year they reported a net lost of 506 million yen.
SNK Playmore’s lineup of mobile games have been doing well recently. Metal Slug Defense, in particular, reached 15 million downloads worldwide.

financial news. Yes it is a good one since those mobile games are said to be good in quality, as opposed to the popular belief that they are mere money makin tools.
and any companies havin a lot of money arent necessarily good news. tho unless they know how to make good games and all they need to know is how to ruin everything, stuff like that.
but if this means the company is “healthy” then, they can make good decision and we can all expect good things.
Wow, this is great news!
With that much money, they can surely make some big titles! I think they should start off with something that’s good size and quality like Metal Slug 8 or a new fighting game with just 16 characters just to keep us occupied.
This is not a whole lot of money. 290 million is about 2.5 million USD, which is really chump change in the business world. The most important thing is that they are not losing money.
Well, they could make something to keep us occupied with that chump change.
