Tencent remakes KOF 98 for mobile online
Just when you’re getting accustomed to the big news earlier today that SNK is being acquired by a Chinese company, we have more KOF related news coming out from China.
Tencent has partnered with SNK Playmore to remake KOF98 for mobile devices. Titled “The King of Fighters 98 online,” the mobile game will feature new character assets and music. The characters will appear in chibi forms. A beta version of the game is available now (Android, iOS App Store). Check out the trailer below.

I like the art. It’s not like Moe stuff we’ve got enough today.
I was like is this Andy Seto’s art?? bc It looks authentic. Good that China’s got its own kof culture already there…
I can’t wait to play this game….it’s gonna be awesome!!!
Download for android isn’t starting…

Re: Yamazaki_RJ
It works for me…
its a mobile game.. so not too much to get excited about but any new SNK related gaming is a positive in my book.
and i am loving the character sprites. kinda looks like an evolution of the NGPC sprites =)
How do you change your players? I have six set characters and two new characters. But I can’t see where to change the characters.
