How about a thread dedicated to the great american FPS?
I don't enjoy a lot of the new stuff these days and Team Fortress 2 has devolved with all of the constant weapon upgrades that destroy the balance. And I really dislike COD for a variety of reasons and I would consider COD to be the SF4 of the FPS genre. But I love the old stuff and I recently came across this:

It's an awesome total conversion that decimates Painkiller and Serious Sam. And it's completely free.

...Ok, I do play BF1943 and UT3... I've tried Black Tango Down, and thought it was an ok FPS...
I do miss the good ole deathmatch days, when people actually earned wins because of their skill level, and didn't ride anyone's coat tails...
