Looks like a straight up GCCD, even used one power stock.
Maybe it was a mistranslation?
Just Defense is also confirmed to be in btw.

Kyo is doing df.D so it must be a gccd. I can't imagine a regular C+D being fast enough to go between those two hits even if you just defend the first one.

People who tested JD and spoke to SNK reps said that JD in XIV only does two things right now:
- reduces guard gauge damage
- builds more meter than regular blocking
They don't know if this will change by the time the game releases but so far that's all JD does. You cannot guard cancel into a special move and don't get any frame advantage.

A little bit probably wouldn't hurt. Add -2 to any move that is JDd. Zaneiken goes from -6 or whatever it is to -8 and becomes atleast sweep punishable for most if you time your defense right. That would probably add to the game in a good way.

I wonder what TV model was used at PSE...Sony isn't exactly known for responsive screens AFAIK, but since it's a Sony event there was no other possible choice xD Does anyone recognize it?
Shame that people still love to make fun of the graphics, even though the gameplay looks solid. KOF will never be an AAA mainstream production, deal with it.

You should take the video with a grain of salt because they're comparing max mode combos (1 bar) to HD combos in order to make them look similar, but they aren't really costwise. And while the 14 combos may be viable, the 13 ones mostly aren't. What would be more useful is a comparison between actual bnb damage.
It's cool though.

Some of those combos were pretty awesome. I found the first Iori combo to be especially sick. You should go to the Iori combo thread and post the inputs. It's okay to post impractical combos there, just don't ask for those combos to be put on the wiki.

Nice combo vid! I love the combos where you cancel super with fan. also it's pretty crazy how many characters can double+ super in the corner. And yeah, impractical combos are more than welcome here. There just aren't that many people around to comment on them atm. At least not until the full build release, anyway.

Nice combos man. They show variety in what can be done in the game. So they do teach people &give idears to others.
I didn't know iori could do OTG hcb+B+D after his climax. Also the combo that wall splats with C+D into f,d,df+K, qcb+C, qcb+C, EX maiden masher was cool.

From what I know, you can only OTG after climax if climax hits its "far version".

I hear that. I've never really played a KOF game before and I was able to do 30 out of 50 characters trials completely. The ones I missed, I only missed by maybe 1 trial and because they have tight 63214x2 motions that I can't do on this Hori pad.
I wouldn't say they're too hard at all. Some characters I would even say are pretty easy.

The trials are for the most part really easy. However, for the majority of the cast they don't really showcase the extent of what they can do. I guess SNK didn't want the stigma of having "difficult execution" from people who only tried a few trials and found them to be hard.

Sweet combo's bro. That's good that k! can combo so well. How come nobody discovered the qcb+K qcb+k qcf+P, f+D combos? Its like everyone always assumed to use the max mode for those style of combo's.

Since the stamina changes implemented in the 2.0 patch, "100% combo" means a different damage value depending on the character on the receiving end of the combo, starting at 900, instead of the previous 1000.
This, obviously, increases the list of 100% combos, but there are still many chars that struggle to hit the 900 mark, sometimes requiring some kind of setup, and other characters still can´t do it , or were able to but no longer can due to previous balance changes.
On the other hand, other chars have an easier time to do 100% combos, some of them being albe to do it on second position, only with 3 bars, or even hit over 1100 damage.
The combos in this 4 part compilation are not meant to be each characters most damaging combo or it´s most practical 100% combo. The combos in this collection are just 100% combos vs the char that are performed to, always trying to show something new.
