Have you ever tried to make a private lobby, but discovered some of your uninvited friends joining your room?
Reason why that happens is because if you're playing online, your friends can see you ONLINE and can join your current game without an invite.
That's good and all, for you wont have to send invites individually, or if you want to join in a game quickly, but it can be a nuisance if you want to have a PRIVATE room with only specific players YOU invite without others on your list joining.
All you have to do is
1.) Max out the private slots for how many players you want
2.) Make sure ALL players you are inviting have their online status to APPEAR OFFLINE. Hit the PS button, go to profile, then hit X over online status. Set to "Appear Offline".
3.) Invite the players you want on your list that have the red x (offline) status.
That's it!
