I'm Webster aka Digimonemporer. Just wanted to drop by and say THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH TO NILCAM for creating this site. This is definitely a great contribution to the SNK community, and I can see nothing but good/positive things coming from this site.
Wish you the best in all that you do for your site.
A lil about me:
I suck at fighting games (well I'm not thaaat bad lol), but I like to play them a lot. I play a lil bit of (read: almost) every fighting game. From Smash to Soul Calibur, from Virtua Fighter to SNK games...I play em all. Right now I am focusing a lil bit on KOF 98/2k2 on GGPO. It's decent practice. Since I don't have any in my local area (the city I live in). And playing on GGPO while talking amongst fellow players on #SNKplaymore, can be alot of fun.

Just signed up today. Trying to really push KOFXIII here in Socal to get a scene going. Hopefully other places around the US get the game and it starts expanding from there.

What's up? I'm Cory (aka Dingo). I'm glad to see a site like this pop up, hopefully it'll really help boost the SNK community as a whole.
Anyway, I'll tell a little about which games I play. I'm a pretty big fighting game fan, and was instantly drawn to SNK games after playing some of them. My favorites include Real Bout 2, KoF 98, and NeoGeo Battle Coliseum. I'm not too bad in Real Bout 2, though I'm not really sure how I stand in KoF 98 and NGBC. As of now, my internet connection is crap so I can't play anything online; but that will hopefully change in about a month or so.

recently, I've been playing KOF13 at AI, and i think this game is awesome. it's my first KOF game, and I really want to help build the USA/socal KOF13 scene as much as possible, since I really think this game is better and more fun than SSF4 hahahah

Hello! I've been playing KOF for about 11 years now, but I've only gotten really serious about it about two years ago. My main KOF is 98/98 UM, but I also play 2002 and XII, and I'm definitely looking forward to XIII. I also play Vampire Hunter and Savior, and Smash 64 (don't hate me). Hello, I'm steamwolf. I've been around on the SNKP forums as well as the Ignition boards but I'm pretty quiet, just poked around for news. I was Major Tom on the SNKP boards but that handle is dead. Been playing SNK games for years but I live out in the boonies of FL and so no real scene here at all. Online play is my saving grace, but I loaned out my 360 and stick to a friend sooo you'll only find me on PSN really. No GGPO either, Madcatz sucks with their USB 1.0.

I feel very fortunate to have stumbled upon this community website! I'm a member of SRK, CyberFanatix, Eventhubs, Dustloop and now can proudly say I'm a member of Dream Cancel (under the same username for each website in case you didn't know)!
Fighting games I currently play: Super Street Fighter II: Turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Super Street Fighter IV, Fatal Fury Special, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift.
I absolutely cannot wait for King of Fighters XIII to make its way console side. I thought King of Fighters XII left a lot to be desired, but it really seems that SNK went all out with XIII which is totally living up to the whole "rebirth" thing if you know what I mean. The game just seems like what XII should of been, and I'm all over it! :D
I play fighting games to win, so don't go easy on me!

There are many kof13 cabinets and some people play this game in Taiwan.But most people are still stuck on kof2002 and kof2002um.I think it is because most people playing games on arcade are veterans.Most young players play games at home.I think kof13 will be more popular after snkp releases console version.

My name is Kenshiro (Ken Morris) and i'm all about Kof and SNK in general. I have been playing since Kof 94 came out in arcades. I am considered by everyone i've played to be a Samurai Showdown 2 expert. I'm not to good with computers and this is my first time ever posting anything(i don't even know what i'm doing lol). I think Kof XIII will be the game that puts KOF in the spotlight and opens the door for SNK to show Capcom and all its fans that they truly are THE KING OF FIGHTERS!!! What's going on guys,
Long time lurker and with the release of XIII on consoles, I've decided to make an account. Been playing KOF since 96 and have not stopped since, and with the way XIII is blowing up right now, I don't see me playing any other fighter seriously for awhile now.
I've usually do posts of Match up videos for BlazBlue but now that XIII is out, expect there to be footage of Online/Offline casuals on the channel.

I played ALpha3 and Tekken 3 throughout much of the 90s.
Played alot of Tekken tag and MVC2 in the 2000s until SF4 came out.
I tried to play KOF12 when it came out but we all know how that went.
But I never got into the KOF series seriously until now.
I tried to play SFxT but it was stupid ez, even though it can be pretty fun, I wanted something more challenging.

hey guys, I have played fighting games since the Art of fighting, I remember playing KOF 94 and been excited for a new installment every year, I also play SF, and MvC, about a week ago I bought KOF XIII and I think is awesome, (I didn't like XII), my connection is not that bad (well at least that's my impression).

How's it going everyone, glad to finally join the forums, im currently trying to revive the fighting game community here in wichita,kansas and so far its going good, I have been playing KOF as long as i can remember, my 2 most favorite titles of the series would have to be 97 and 2002, loved playing them until i beat orochi and rugal, if anyone here wants to get some games in online hit me up on XBL, my GT is theanimefan101.

Hello everyone my name is Mephistopheles. I personally have been a fan of the KOF series since 2000, however i never truly got into the fighting game scene until summer of 2010. Honestly despite being a fan of the series and im normal time schedule i haven't had the time to focus on KOF on a competitive level until about 8 months ago, but since then ive been working hard on the game and to show for it i went to evo2k12 for the first time despite my lack of knowledge on most of the matchups, I performed much better than i had anticipated and nearly made it out of my bracket, and actually for that i've made my decision to drop Street Fighter as my primary game to focus on KOF to see where my potential for the game leads me. Currently i'm trying to find people to practice with and hopefully become a truly stronger KOF player. I play KOF on both the ps3 and xbox 360. Hi, I've liked SNK/Neo Geo fighting games since playing the first Fatal Fury game back in the arcades :)
Discovering new and exciting fighting games from a red Neo Geo arcade cabinet was one of the main reasons I went to the arcades back in the day. Some of the highlights for me were Samurai Shodown,Samurai Shodown 2,Fatal Fury,Fatal Fury 2, Fatal Fury Special,Art of Fighting,Art of Fighting 2,World Heroes, and World Heroes 2 Jet.
However Samurai Shodown was and still is my favorite SNK fighting game franchise. In fact Samurai Shodown is one of my favorite fighting game franchises of all time and Samurai Shodown 2 is still my favorite from that series and from the 90's era of fighting games.
I didn't become aware of the Last Blade series until much later on and I also missed out on Garou Mark of the Wolves. Also despite my love for SNK fighting games. To the point of watching the animes for Samurai Shodown,Fatal Fury, and Art of Fighting. I actually didn't know about the King of Fighters series of games until around 2008,Ha!
However I'm looking forward to playing the new new King of Fighters 14 with everyone (especially if Lee Pai Long,Tung Fu Rue,Duck King,Geese Howard, and Jonesy Master of Furniture Fu make it in ;).
I'm also really excited at the prospect of a resurgences of SNK fighting games!

What's going on everyone. I'm a straight up scroob (scrubby noob) when it comes to KoF...I've been playing Street Fighter for the past 8-9 years, but I don't really like SFV and I wanna finally get into this game for real as I've only ever played my equally scrubby friend in KoF XIII (he's not really into fighting games, he just humors me).
Anyway enough rambling.
