Thanks man, Korean matches are by far my fave ones to watch when it comes to this game.
Really solid Kensou in the first vid, haven't put in much time into XI (no 2p) and haven't seen him used in match before so didn't know that he was so much better than in 2k2. Loving the improved combo options, his really sucked in 2k2.
A great Gai player in the second vid, I'd kill for him to appear in XIV. Ditch Hwa Jai and make him the rival for Joe, badass character with a unique play style.
Third vid has a sweet Adel finish in the first match.

First Vid: Holy crap at Poongko's K', mad solid all around with excellent use of the SDM's anywhere juggle property (even off of a freaking sweep). Damn, K's SDM lets you anywhere juggle and juggle after (with a special or another super). No wonder ppl are warming up to K' so easily in XIII, the guy has been solid since 2003 and continues that tradition yet again.
Too bad the guy already seemed to have figured out Poongko's Iori and Kyo, they kept falling like flies.
Second Vid: One of my fave matches ever, Kyo and Iori tag team craziness.

Thanks fiol, keep em coming. The pace of these matches is just crazy and the variety of characters being used is really appreciated. Really good Oswald in there. That Malin LDM looks kinda BS, really hope she doesn't end up in the newer KOFs.
Looking at these matches it becomes obvious why Poongko does nothing but attack in SF4. Hanging with this KOF crowd means you either rush like hell or kick the bucket and this mentality seems to have stuck with him in SF4, which is not exactly a good thing since being defensive is a big part of that game.

About Malin u should ask Mazinkaiser (if i'm not mistaken he mains her as L).

Yeah I remember trying Momoko way back as well, not sure if she's very good in XI but I think her character and style definitely have potential if she is brought to the new KOF with some adjustments. I like how she is combo centered, unlike Elena in 3S who had a reall crappy move list and combos.

Nice matches, although I got bored of listening same theme all the time.
But I don't still understand what people see on Duo Lon. He is arguably one of the lamest characters ever in KOF. Or I just suck at playing as him.

His Leader makes him top tier...so for me it's not about the design of the character, it's the character's efficiency and how they fit my style of play. For me the person could be the ugliest character known to man, but if he/she fits my style of play then I'm going to use him/her.
I guess I am saying I do not look at character popularity when determining who I am going to use.
In every KOF he has been in sans KOFXII he is a very strong character (2003, KOFXI with Leader, KOF13).
I do not like Lin's style of play as it somewhat resembles Duo Lon's, but Duo Lon's is a faster style of play that allows more pressure.

I would say Armando is #1 if he is Kula's trainer and Armando says he can beat Kula now I do not know how close they are but that's what both of them have told me (that Armando is better than Kula/Kula's trainer in KOFXI)...or on these forums B.A.L.A. Once I get to the level of beating Kula I will challenge Armando..but hey if I can I will challenge him NOW!
As I told Kula to Kula in person "I am not afraid of you. I know by me continuing to play against you I am only going to get leagues stronger and really get into a level of my own."
That is exactly what is happening! =)
**Also looks like I'll be in South Mexico training up vs. Kula etc like I would do in Juarez middle of June so prepare to see mountains and mountains more of matches just like you are seeing but in various games such as but not limited to: KOFXI, 98UM, 2000, 2002 UM, NeoWave, NGBC, SvC Chaos, KOF 1999 and others..

He's really always been up there, very fast, great lockdown strings, excellent priority, builds good meter, great crossups and has MORE priority on 2p because of the glitch on 2player where he has more priority on his attack strings on 2p.

Three amazing matches, back-to-back. They only use default teams (i.e. Pyscho Soldier team vs. Agents team) which results in some nice character variety. For some of these characters (Kensou, King, Ramon and others), I can't even remember the last time I saw them in an XI match video. I might be nice to see the occasional special-rules tournament with a default teams-only rule.

Comboability of cr.B and command F+B, damage output, DM juggle followup in the corner very good for okizeme and if i remember is quite good too, same cross up bug after throw like the normal kyo... and that's all i guess.
