For extended casual sessions we're trying to get more KOF players at the Freedomonia meets in El Cerrito.

And when I get back from WA and after SCR I'll probably hit up GC as much as I can for KOF. THat place is great and it needs as much support as it can get.

If meets happen at Starbase Friday-Sunday I'm down to hit it up. Also in El Cerrito we're trying to get more KOF players to hit up the Freedomnia sessions, if anyone is in East Bay hit up the FDM thread in the Pac North section of SRK.

Also I'm pretty much available for meets during the weeke in SF as long as I can get there on Muni and it's after 1 PM.

dunno why pro gaming in general has always really annoyed me

Guessing here, but is it more the players and drama that annoy you, or more? Some of the players and the drama they bring is a turnoff for me.
thats some of it although thats a pretty normal reason, but i think at the end of day all it does is turn something ive enjoyed doing for fun into a job
How does it do that if you're not involved with anything competitive anyway? And hey look what we got here a competitive oriented site, yup this sure is work.

Why are you even bothering at this point? What's the whole endgame when it's hentai without the H content? It's the most pointless thing ever. No wonder everyone stopped playing this in Japan.
Uh... the game still gets play, it's a pretty decent game, some interesting system mechanics, balance is alright. Plus alot of people are fans of AquaPlus characters and stories so yeah pretty much worth a pick up.

"Untitled" Fighting Game Tournament Featuring Blazblue, Skullgirls, Melty Blood, and King of Fighters.

The Venue is Gamebreakerz, located at :
4111 A Street Southeast  Auburn, WA 98002

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I started this event in hopes that our community could start a local monthly tournament scene for the games that don't get much exposure and or tournaments in the Northwest.
My goal is that this series might evolve into something big with the help of our local community's attendance and participation. This month's tournament will serve as a test run, and to
see how everything works out with the venue and time constraints. I plan to add/subtract games depending on how things go this month. Persona 4 Arena will be added in August.
The venue is really nice and has a fair amount of room, but we will need people to bring setups so that the tournaments run smoothly. There is a small $3 venue fee that needs to be paid
when you walk in. The event will be streamed via twitch.tv at an unannounced url.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Main Games:

KOF XIII (PS3/360?)

BlazBlue CSEX(Ps3)

Melty Blood (PC)

Skullgirls (PS3/360?)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Schedule:

6/29/12

Singles Tournaments:

Game – Entry Fee – Start time

Blazblue EX – $5 -8pm

KOF XIII – $5 – 8pm

MbCC -- $5-- 6pm

Skullgirls $5 -- 6pm

———————————————————————————————————–

We NEED setups! If you can bring a monitor and or console, please let me know. I think Gamebreakerz already has a couple Asus monitors and xbox360s, but we'll need much more than that that to make this experience go so smoothly.

List of Setups

———————————————————————————————————–

There is a bunch of food within walking distance (across the street) and eating in the venue is okay as long as you are respectful. (Don't make a mess, if you do, clean it up).

Yeah the localizing thing is a little annoying, arcade getting it before us isn't that bad but when they're such a gap between hte Japan and US release *And worse if you're EU, but that's another situation entirley*. bSo glad P4U is gonna be a simultaneous release.
