I actually watched that, but it didn't really help me understand the timing any. I was hoping someone with experience playing her could explain it (maybe if I understood Japanese, the video explained it too, but I don't :x)

If I just spam the input just outside attack range while the CPU is set to attack over and over again, it will eventually trigger, but I can't figure out how to do it on purpose... and I've never gotten it to work when close enough to be hit. I either get hit or on rare occasion do her stand A and trade hits (or interrupt the attack). It never seems to trigger the counter when actually being in range to attack. Obviously I understand nothing of the timing.

you have to input the direction within few frames from pressing A
I have found out using  ;a +  ;fd is the hardest since the counter will happen only during the active frame of the medium attack (range doesnt matter)
you can practice by recording Yamazaki  ;dn ;db ;bk +  ;b multiple times and you will get the timing

usually I go for  ;a + ;dn (just a matter of guessing) & ;a + ;up (easy to catch jumping attacks)
I use it against all Choi jumping moves (except Max 2), Namless jump  ;c or jump  ;a and all cross jumps attempts when grounded but be careful as sometimes the counter miss the opponent

I wanted to share one more tip since very long time

instead of inputting ;dn ;db ;bk ;c after  ;fd ;df ;dn ;db ;bk ;fd ;a or ;c
simply press  ;a + ;c for the follow up attack ;)

Time to change the topic title to "Last EVO for KOF, China on Top..!"  :D

Kim is the strongest character because any one can use him

KOF02UM: @Virtualand, Singapore

recently I ve been to Virtualand Arcade @Bugis in Singapore
I'm impressed about the level of the players and really had alot of fun challenging them
however I felt they are not as friendly as my community as no one was talking to me and no one even reply my ggs compliment hahaha

I really loved their arcade
I wished we have a similar one in Dubai
I will make sure to challenge them again on my next trip to Singapore

so QQ gets KOF02UM in addition to KOF98UM FE
can some one explain to me how does QQ works and how they generate profits?

I agree with this. I love playing KOFXIII but one of my main grips is that it is extremely combo focused and dominate. All you need to do in KOFXIII is just hit confirm well then not drop the HD combo. In '98/'02 it's a more spacial game, you can win just off poking, good zoning, good pressure, good mind games and bnb' can do a little bit of that in KOFXIII but it can all go to waste if you screw up and get hit once against someone that has a decent amount of meters. >_<

I think that is the main reason I dont enjoy playing kofxiii more than 10 matches in a raw
I just feel i'm fed up with all the repetitive combos and the loops
and I never enjoy watching KOFXIII matches unless in a grand final of a major tournament or something
