Just tried that out for a while. I couldn't get f+A/AC or f+b/BD to work during a backstep regardless of how I timed the input. It might not be possible.

I hope this is the right place to post this.

Not sure if anyone else uses these already, but I was playing around with Andy in practice and found a couple of nice B/D corner specific combos that aren't listed here.

1 Level, 1 Drive Gauge -

d.b, s.b, far D, db~f+C (DC) db~f+AC, dp+C = 410 dmg

2 Level, 1 Drive Gauge -

d.b, s.b, far D, db~f+C (DC) db~f+AC, qcf~hcb+P = 484 dmg

Welcome to the community Arc. Hope you're enjoying the game and will enjoy your time here.

Thanks. Definitely enjoying the game. The new mechanics took some getting used to, but now that I have I think this might be my favorite KOF game. I hope they keep the HD system if/when we get a new dream match. I want some awesome Orochi Chris HD combos.

welcome. If your sig is your team, shout outs to Kula players!

Yep. That's my main team. I hadn't really used Kula much after 2001, but I'm glad I started to in this game. I forgot how much fun she was to play. I'm still having trouble with the Crow Bites > D Lay Spin cancel in her corner combos, but hopefully I can get it down. She's the most recent addition to my team, though. I've put a lot more time into both Kyos and Duo Lon.

Meet & Greet / Greetings

Howdy, Dream Cancel community. I've been guest-lurking this forum for about a month now. Figured I'd register and say both "Hello" as well as "Thank you for the wonderful compilation of information you have here." It's been quite helpful in improving my game thus far.

I recently got into KOF XIII (picked it up Feb. 28th) after a long absence from series, but I've been a huge KOF fan since the first time I played the Dreamcast version of '98 back in my younger days. I'd always wanted to try to get into the competitive scene and I'm hoping to get the opportunity to go to EVO this year. One's first (well it'd be my second or third counting the local competition(s) at Blockbuster when I was a kid) tournament is a grand experience, I'm sure.
