What does piss me off is Capcom constantly trying to get away with more and more bullshit. It's like with every game they decide to rip us off a little more by giving us less content, more crap dlc, and an absurdly short amount of downtime before double-dipping.

Don't be silly, of course I didn't just now notice this behavior. My anger over it is just coming to a head that's all. I'm a slow to anger kind of guy.

I can't speak for others, but I'm not one to get upset about characters that I don't know or don't like getting into a game when the characters I like don't. It's silly to blame a character you don't like for your own personal favorites not getting in. I may be disappointed that the Punisher isn't in, but I won't blame Rocket Raccoon (Who I admit I never heard of, I don't read much comics outside of Punisher, Iron Man, and X-men) for his exclusion. Besides, Rocket Raccoon seems like a cool character. Almost like a Star Fox character with attitude.

Damn I'm really getting sick of Capcom. SF is the only fighter you usually see them do multiple rehashes of so I felt confident at the time I bought MvC3 that it was the only version of the game there was going to be. This bullshit needs to stop. It would be one thing if MvC3 felt like a complete game and Capcom gave a more reasonable amount of time between releases, but they are not and it feels like they are trying to take advantage of us.

The part that pisses me off the most is I like Capcom's games. But I am afraid they have gone too far this time. I'm really tempted to ignore this game completely just out of principal. I'm too angry right now to really make a final decision though.

The exclusion of Mega Man X and the Punisher (my favorite Marvel character) is also something that kills my excitement for this game.

There's nothing wrong with Otakon, but I am a bit worried about anything "juicy" coming from there. As long as none of it gets on me then I guess it will be alright.

No problem with that, but you are familiar with team chemistry right?

When PurpGuy was talking about "teams that make some sort of sense" it seemed like he meant what makes sense for them to be a team story wise. Which is not something I really care about. As for team chemistry, that's definitely something I'm down with. However, sometimes I think it's important to just play the characters you want to and to hell with how well they work together (excluding serious competition of course).

I don't know about making teams that make sense. I just like using characters that I find fun to play. Typically I'll have Terry and Blue Mary on any given team, but I just like their moves and their character designs so damn much. Things may be different for this game though. Most of the cast looks really fun this time and I would be doing myself a disservice if I didn't give them all a try.

I'm not sure how long the panel discussion is going to last, but I do know that they are scheduled 2 hours apart from eachother. I believe Namco is up after Atlus and SNK.

Terry, Kim, and Maxima is the team I plan to take to Evo. Although I can't decide an order. I have spent very little time with this game and I just have not figured out what works best for them. If the console gets Blue Mary then you can bet I'll be dropping Maxima for her.

Will we be able to have time with the game before the tournament begins? I have only had one chance to play it so far so any time with it beforehand would help immensely. I know I don't have a chance in hell at winning this thing. But, I would like to try to avoid looking like a complete tool.

Or I just concentrate building scene here in Finland. Kinda surprised that here are actually people who like the series and are intrested about XIII.

So you are from Finland are you? Well I would like to express my gratitude to your country for blessing this world with fine metal bands such as Children of Bodom and Amorphis.

I can't hook you up with plane tickets, but I can post my own experience at Evo as it happens. I know it's not much but it's all I can do.

I will be testing the console version a few days before EVO and if it's not arcade perfect we will not use it. If the console version is arcade perfect we might consider using it.

I think if the balance isn't arcade perfect it should be more reason to use it at the tournament. It will help level the playing field for those of us who are new to the game. Although, I do admit I would probably take the opposite point of view if I was already really experienced at the arcade version. But as it stands I have only played this game once, and I'll take any handicap I can get.

Besides, if they by some miracle have Blue Mary in the console version they bring there, and you don't let me use her, I might cry. Do you wanna see a grown man cry?

Holy hell, my respect for some of you here has dropped really far, really fast. Opinions are fine and all, and I certainly don't expect everyone to like the same things, but some of you guys are talking like people should feel bad if they like MK. What the hell kind of shit is that? If you wanna hate a game then go ahead and hate it, but don't go and make assumptions about people cause they like something you don't. KOF is my favorite 2D fighting game series, and VF is my favorite 3D fighting series, but I happen to like many other games including MK. Those just happen to be the games I like and I'm not a better or worse person for it.

Sorry for being off topic, but it's shit like this that I thought I was getting away from when I came here.

Back on topic, I'm looking forward to the KOF XIII panel at Evo. I'll definitely be attending that.

I know I probably came off a bit more angry than I actually am, so I apologize for that. I just want to be proud of the community I choose to be a part of. It's probably asking too much, but I can dream right?

Now that I know that the console version of KOF XIII will be playable at EVO, I don't think anything can bring me down. I'm so excited I don't know if I can contain myself. Now if you folks will excuse me, it is time for me to ROCK OUT!!!
