Performing Drive cancels are essential in taking the most damage in given situations. But HD is great especially if you know that your character can utilize it without having to burn any super meter. KOF 13 console is definitely the game to play, yes, they did tone down kim, ash, andy, and many others in the cast. THE GAME is balanced. So, let's just be thankful and look forward to it when it gets out. No point in explaining the difference because the game itself feels almost like a new game to learn again with all the tweaks.

its so that you wont accidentally do  ;dn ;df ;fd x2 supers.

also i was wondering something about the console version. now with the change of hd mode NM costing only 2 super bars, anybody think it would be a good idea if NM would cost 3 superbars but no DC bar if done as a stand alone move or in non hd combos? i hate the fact that they are limmiting the use of NM for hd mode, it just costs too much if your not in hd to ever warant using it (unless its a punish that you otherwise couldt do, for instance kyo's NM full screen away to punish a fb etc). they are already asking for 3 stocks, why kill my dc bar to? its just not fair, its not like characters are stocked with dm bars all the time.

Because no one is thinking to be hit by a random NEOMAX that takes a lot of blood from the opponent. That's why most of the casts possess  EX Moves to go through Fireballs my friend.

this is yoshi speaking on behalf of TEAM CHAOS :)
first of all we would like to thank all the kof 13 staff at evo 2011(oscar,yuhang,giby and im sorry if im forgetting someone).
sorry for addressing this topic once again(RJ-armando) but we only want to make sure that this doesn’t involve us...
armando is a friend of ours but he doesnt represent TEAM CHAOS. although we supported him in the tournament(after raymond"romance") we were fully supporting RJs' win. We think that armando should have been more reasonable and  that he should have accepted the lose. We also think that he should have said that the stick wasnt working at the very first round....and even if the stick stopped working at the last round, he should have still given the win to RJ.we know that RJ is a very humble guy and that makes him a unique kofer....trading sticks with armando was a very bad move from RJ but armando should have considered that RJ doesnt play on american sticks and yet still armando accepted the japanese stick.…After all armando said that he wasnt under any risk of losing.

DG you are an awesome guy man! But if you want to get involved in this, you honestly had to be there. Armando has his story and RJ has his....only the ones who were actually there can say what really happened. Think about this....if RJ didnt accepted the win, Armando should have still lost on purpose so that RJ would get his win…..and that is what we(TEAM CHOAS) call good sportsmanship....but we don’t underestimate armando's skill and level.

TEAM INFINITY(duc,yu hang, meta, oscar,RJ and everyone else) you guys have all the right to get mad over this situation. This was not just another tournament, it was evo 2011.TEAM CHOAS has mad respect for all you guys.reynald and john....you guys are the shit.....THANK YOU ALL.

It's good that TEAM CHAOS has taken the time to talk about the incident with the BALA/RJ situation. We should just stop  this whole debate because it will only hurt BALA in the long run. Even though BALA feels I've turned my back on him, I will vouche that he's got skills in the game. Will he overcome this whole scandal? I don't know... but i do hope he keeps playing and overcomes this whole ordeal. TEAM CHAOS should let him know who his real friend is because he apparently doesn't understand me as a person at all.

I just wanted to say first off that Giby should get all the credit he is getting from everyone. If it wasn't for his contribution and help the tournament probably wouldn't have happened. Also congratulations to all the top 8 placers. Overall I had a great during the tournament even though I didn't do as good as I wanted to. The main thing I wanted to do though was help out as much as possible. I wanted to give shout outs to everyone who was there. If it wasn't for everyone getting together and helping each other out the tournament wouldn't have had such a great turn out. Even though there was a few bumps during the tournament overall I believe most of the players had a great time. All that's left now is to get things rolling once the console release is officially out. Hopefully by next year we can get the game the recognition it deserves to make it to the EVO line up. I'll be doing my best when it comes out to start pushing the game and to get better as well. As long as everyone does something to help the community things will only get better in the long run.

True. True. Can't wait to see you level up once the game is in your hands. I'm sure you'll make it far next EVO. KOF 13 has been out for over a year, but the console version will make it not look boring and broken. Let's GET SERIOUS and blow this game up and avoid all the BS!!!

What Kula is saying is it is the actions of a few that makes many Mexicans look bad. He also is saying whatever you all see in regards to him and my tournaments is "Part of the Show." Nothing more nothing less, it is part of the show to entertain, but it is not the way Mexicans are. Everything you are seeing now is a result of "The Show"...but we talk "Behind the Scenes" to make people know that we are all about respect..though you all may not "necessarily see it on the videos"..Kula and Hummer talked extensively and trust me things are better than you would be led to believe...

Kula doesn't mind being the "bad guy" just to market things further...

He also does not condone the actions of Armando....

All I'm saying is if anyone wants international exposure in KoF you've got to have to respect, integrity and be a professional. This is not Street Fighter where in areas you can shit talk all you want. We first need to unite as a community and build this scene without overhyping it. We need to have a one voice *i.e.* at EVO when rufus performs his ultra and the crowd is readily to put their hands in the air and yell "BOOM"! We need that people!

Good tournament and matches, thanks for the uploads.

I understand people are pissed at Bala, and rightfully so, but honestly, from the matches uploaded, he bodied everyone pretty badly. He was in winners and stayed in winners, just cruising through the grand finals (with three straight wins). Based on the uploaded matches, it looks like he would have won even if he accepted that one loss.

So yeah, he made an ass of himself but looking at the way he played and how convincingly he won I'd consider him the champ.

Just level up and kick his ass next time, kthxbye.

Just before my match with Bala during the Winners finals, I chose to listen to some music to hype myself up before the match. That dude has the nerve to tell me hurry up and go and start the match. You don't *uck with someones vibe. It's like telling poongko to start his match quickly and not let him have the time to take off his jacket, necklace, and down that monster. You gotta feel yourself. I don't mind if others still want to support Bala, but all i can say his actions at EVO has changed my view of him.

* i would have promoted anyone with good character even if that person is able to beat me*

so apparently "Xian" from singapore is in my pools for ssf4 along with gootecks. But what you may not know is that Xian had placed top 4 in KOF 13 during last years SBO! He even placed top 8 in a recent SSf4 tourney in Australia. Hopefully him and I make it out of our brackets with ease without running into each other  :)

I should surprise him by not letting him know that a fellow KOF'er is in his pool. Will this be my undoing??

Ok hey John and Reynald, I'm a little tired I wasn't thinking but I think I made a mistake by taking one of your quarters on the cabinet, thinking it was my quarter when I left. If not...cool, but if I did..I'm sorry!

Don't worry it's just a quarter. If it happens on many occasions there will be KOF outside jk jk  ;)
But we appreciate your honesty. GG's y'all!

Sup guys, i'm planning on heading to LA maybe Tuesday morning next week, so i can practice with you guys before the trip to EVO, I need to get used to the sanwa again, and if The Answer can let me use the american stick that would be nice too, I would like to try it out.

Looking forward to seeing you after 2 years. See you tuesday.
