plaied in player match and i saw something i never saw before
his chess piece changed in vertical colored lines with the write image in the middle and in the part showing the score between me and him he had random numbers like win : 78650126502605561923695 lost: 462956254125628551 changing everytime i dont know if this is the reset score affecting the ps3 players u were talking about. first time on xbox

so it seems patch is on just in the usa ? i plaied last nite (around late afternoon time in usa ) and what i noticed is just less ppl available in player match. connection was still the same shit , i didnt noticed any parameters of search or preferences memorized (of course cause i didnt get the patch yet ) so i think im in the box of ppl without patch and i see less players available for this ?

for those who have the patch : when launching the game u received a message saying there was an upgrade for the game or u have to look for the  patch in the marketplace ?

it should ask you if you want to install the patch before you start playing the game it wouldn't be in the marketplace unless it was some type of dlc im guessing if you haven't got it yet it might not be up in your area

can anyone say the exact date the patch was out in europe ? cause im from italy and i didnt see any patch at all till now ( i suppose u get the alert of the patch like in all the other games or u cant load the game till u didnt install it right ? )

what r some nice enders for sc ? could u list some examples of enders with CD or a way to get into HD ? finishing SC with   , ,(SC finish) whats next ? cause   comes out easy and then i can follow with   and CD but if i want to do another SC i cant hit him (even if i buffer   during the fireball then i run and press D).
for the HD after the last   should i do HD and   instead of CD ? there r other ways ?
oh and of course i just wrote this but if u know ways to improve the damage or hints like do the fireball with c instead of a or after b,D u can still add some moves they r welcome

did u try if the blockstun of the guard crash combo is enough to freeze the opponent ? cause i dont know if it is the lag and online issue but someone could throw me in the frames of b,f D while in the rush and first the hit comes out.of course this must have been a panic situation for him and i can imagine he pushing buttons and stick like a crazy and the throw came out but since u can get throw in the rush of the sabre the block stun should be tested

True but there's also the chance of fan favorite of not returning. Considering how 13 ended we may not see Claw Iori in the next one which I really liked claw. Also dead character stay dead in KOF. Unless you're a ghost or some shit (Mature and Vice). I would like to see the Orochi team once more 

One thing I wonder about is system in the next iteration. IMO XIII's system is damn near perfect, wonder if they would go ruining that just for the sake of change.

thats what im scared of too ... this system is just too good soooo basic and perfectly working, hope they ll not ruin this with a gameplay like for example bb where u almost need meters even for choose a character

there r lots of nice characters in ur bets and really hope some ofthem ll come true.
what i was asking for (maybe the mods can say if it is possible or usefull to do it) is open a thread where we can put our preferences about the characters we want to see as dlcs ( if they ll ever be ) or the next episode (since it probably ll be a dream match it is not necessary to write them as a team).
dunno if this sort of list could be of any help to snkp following the system crapcom used asking fans their favorite characters, or if snkp already has an idea of who they ll move in cause of the story or whatever.

ehy guys i know it could seems weird since the dlc characters r out from just yesterday but do u think  a petition with a list of ur favs characters for next dlcs would have any sense ? im not even sure there ll be others dlcs but lots of players r still pissed off about some legends not included in the game like b.mary yamazaki kasumi and lots more. so if on the other side ppl ask and writes petition to have megaman why wouldnt we send a message to snkp letting them know new cracaters would be very welcome ?
hope this was not too much OT or too stupid as a fan and player request but some of u have contacts with snkp so just why dont set a list ?

im not sure u can neomax cancel an EX v-slasher in combo. by my experience it doesnt bypass the HD (example if u do c.B f.B ex v-slasher pressing abc u dont bypass the HD and cant neomax cancel)  it must be just a ex v-slasher so i think just as a punishemnt of normals or fireballs or anything who keeps the other close to the ground.dunno if instant overhead is an exception didnt try it

Hm, ok. I didn't try it off of the cr.B - I'll check the jump-ins again. I might've just been doing the j.A/j.D with HD already activated or something.

just tried now u can only bypass hd on a simple EX v-slasher. on combo or instant overhead it doesnt bypass (i dont understand why ?). ex v-slasher hd neomax 790 damage
please correct me and say it is possible

vice online ? c mon is unplayable
no hitconfirms from c.B allowed, ppl in eternal c.block cause they r scared to jump cd and u cant even run and do 1 frame throw. overhead comes out everytime except when u want it. HD combos ? yeah right ... and vice is one of the most easiest to do combos with but not online. s.A AA or to prevent hop ? overhead comes out. s.A after shoulder ? never ... really it is not the best choice for online play considering u must have a great use of space timing adn whatever, u cant base ur game just on random splashes

I have to admit that I don´t really understand exactly how some of the shortcuts work.

 

same for me. yesterday with lizzy during her trials (i finally did do 2, but don't know how, switched from analog to d-pad.)

during her othe trials i noticed that doing a and quickly pressing again willl cancel her dp without going into super. all of a sudden after a couple trials it didn't work anymore in HD mode. i noticed that doing did work, and after that it also stopped working. being happy with the shortcot i tried doing k's hold  press  wasn't working either. some of these character shortcuts dont work properly or every time, i'd like to know if there's a certain criteria for it like how high you juggle or some other shit. not having all characters trials 100% is bugging me crazy.

lizzy is so weird. i noticed somethign strange too for example i cant DC her dp A or C if it is comboed after C fB, or at least it requires a different timing respect the usual dp DC.
the shortcut i use is simply dp then go neutral and press f.AC or just keeping f. after the dp and then AC but this way it wont come out after C f.B.i think maybe is it depending by the timing and if the opponents is very close to the ground ? and just after that combo it is not at the right height ? in any ither situation i can DC it very easily but not that way
