I think i'm going old to play RPGs, before i could play these suckas for 50+ hours, now i can't even reach 30 hours before getting bored.

And yes i know 50+ hours is nothing for an RPG since some people can play for hundred of hours a game.

Nah, I could go all day on an RPG...you know, if I actually like the game enough to do so.

I'm sort of the same where sometimes if I don't have anything else to do I end up going for 5 or 6 hours without even really noticing how much time had gone by.

Also has anyone played Disgaea 4? I ask since i'm considering buying it but i've played the crap out of 2 and 3 and from what i've heard and seen it isn't really all that different and I was wondering what everyone else's opinion on it is.

Since I'm a huge KH fan, after watching the trailer, I have these insightful thoughts.

...HOLY SHIT!

That's a lot of people's opinion, and honestly, it's probably the right one, but meh, I'll take my decision to suffer.

That one on the DDS was dope I thought...

Anyway, I'm surprised no one mentioned the following"

Shadow Hearts (any of them including Koudelka) - My favorite was SH2
Blue Dragon
Eternal Arms
Lost Odyssey
White Knight Chronicles (the offline mode)
Grandia 2 & 3
Mass Effect 1 (not so much part 2, and I'll eventually explain why)
Chrono Trigger
Chrono Cross (I liked it, despite how the story kinda didn't truly follow the first one)
Legend of Dragoon (very linear, but still worth mentioning)
Eternal Eyes

...sigh... If I have to mention a FF game, I guess FFIV (Yes the one with Cecil) and FFVIII... Both I thought were better than VII. VII only really got jizzed over because it was the first 3d FF game, and because of Aeris (or Aerith if you had the glitch thing happen to you). The materia system was good, but once you found the strongest materia in the game, you could run through the game easy. The only real challenge imo were the Emerald and Ruby Weapons...

I can't think of anything else right now... My list is actually longer than that, but I got beats in my head right now...

I agree that FFVII shouldn't have been put on such a pedestal at the same time...people shit on it too much now.

Yes Ogre Battle is criminally overlooked time and time again as all most people know is baby's first edition AKA Final Fantasy Tactics. Also I agree with you about FFVII and how it is a good game just not the holy grail so many people make it out to be,although i'd personally also throw Chrono Trigger in that catagory as well.

Also i'd like to throw in Fire Emblem as it is one of my favorite franchises in all of video games and how even though it's a Nintendo franchise it always gets overlooked by the masses due to the niche genre.
