Hope there'll actually be 1000+ shirts ready. Also hope (against hope) that at least half that number comes out to play it at EVO.

It would really suck if the shirts were cheap iron ons.

Anyway, SO HYPE!

A Taiwanese kof13 player will go to EVO.He is very strong.
2 HK kof13 players wanted to attend EVO and asked some questions about it on KOFunion. But I don't know their decision.

Is it ET from Taiwan?

His name is Yao Ren Yang(楊耀仁).He is better than ET at kof13.

James Chen talking on the MLG KOF turnout & community
http://www.twitch.tv/ultrachentv/b/321275050
http://www.twitch.tv/ultrachentv/b/320622265

Chen's take on the reason for the low turnout kind of match what Desmond and David have said in the latest DriveCancel ep, but part of me wants to make a bigger deal out of the entry fee or it starting for Friday instead of Saturday, but that might not deter me either from going.

I like his take on having heroes in the KOF community that help self-sustain us like B.A.L.A., Reynald, Mr. KOF, Romance, etc. KOF will be around as good as it is, but I worry about cultivating more heroes, or at least bigger threats outside of SoCal now.

I think the Friday start cannot be stressed enough.  Let's say you get paid hourly at your job, and let's say you make minimum wage (I'm low balling it) and you normally work 8 hours a day.  You're talking about $64 that you're not making PLUS the $50 and now we're talking about a MINIMUM of $114 that you're really investing.

Have to agree on the Friday thing, I too wouldn't have been able to attend  a tournament under such circumstances.

His name is Yao Ren Yang(楊耀仁).He is better than ET at kof13.

Is there any footage of him playing seriously? You linked me to his stream archive last time but it looked like he was just messing around with his friends.

I'm really looking forward to all these international entrants.

Looking forward to CEO this weekend.  I hope Mago enters KOF so we get to see how good he is at the game.  I know he's been training with Dune and Tokido, but no footage of him has surfaced, so let's hope he doesn't withhold his debut until evo.

Mago vs BALA is going to be hype!!!

From what Tokido told us, Mago is a lot stronger than he is.

Word has it from TKG, a la the Korean battlepage.com, that at least 4 Korean players are coming to Evo as well...

Doesn't Tokido always say something to this effect though?  He may be the Murderface but I wonder about his killer instinct sometimes.

Haven't seen any XIII footage of him but Mago has been in kind of a slump lately when it comes to SF4, see him lose pretty often.

He's nothing to write home about in MVC3 either iirc.

Instead of being coaches I'd much rather see Dune and Haregoro be at Evo instead :\

I hope Mago's slump in Sf4 has to do him spending all his time playing kof....  Hahaha
