Yo I probably won't even be able to go to this tourney Saturday. Rich is just charging to much for these games. 10$ plus a 5$ venue fee... When you play multiple games, that stuff adds up, and I was planning on entering 3 games. 35$ plus gas is a lot of money. I don't think I can do it.

Why not just play KOF?

Just stick with the games that you know man. SF4 isn't even worth entering if you just recently picked it up because you'll probably get bopped. On the other hand, I think you have a good chance of doing well in KOF and Marvel. I'd say just stick to those 2 games. It's not like SF4 needs any more pot monsters in the first place. KOF on the other hand, is basically on life support.

LOL that was funny as shit. I've been trying to get these down for a while now. I can only land them about half of the time in training so I'm still hesitant to try them in game. I've been using cl.C instead of cr.C though, and since cl.C is faster it will definitely make the link easier. I'm gonna start trying that tonight.

Good games this past Saturday, y'all. I'm seeing a lot of good progression. Because of final exams I will try to host a week before Frosty's. I've been looking into possible housing for us but if things don't work out, we may have to look into booking a room.

GGs on saturday. Hopefully it doesn't come down to booking a room, but if it does let me know asap so I can save up a little more dough.

Me either, but one of the KOF Chicago locals told me there is a place across the street from the venue that has rooms around 50 to 60 bucks a night, which we can all split 5 ways which can be 30 to 40 bucks per person total. I'm not sure how much gas will be, that depends on whose driving.

I can't decide on a third character for frosty faustings. I want to play Ash, but I don't feel competent enough to win with him. Last tournament he did the least amount of work by far. I have a few other characters I can play, just not on the level of my other 2.
