Tons of useful info from the Stunfest stream, where Frionel & co solicited & answered questions in English.

They confirmed alternate guard is gone. You also can't CD counter or guard cancel roll while blocking low, but I dunno whether that's a feature or just a bug in this build.

They re-confirmed the 1-anywhere-juggle limit in combos. Lots of character-specific info too; I'm gonna have to watch the archives again just to write down all the stuff they confirmed. At this rate I'm gonna have a pretty short laundry list of stuff to test at CEO...

I wonder will the amount of damage be adjusted in the release? I personally don't see a huge problem. Focus would be on more simple yet effective combos. If the damage and scaling says the same in the released version, my prediction is that more "simpler" characters could be more popular.

I heard about the guard cancel and alternate guard changes. Did frionel come back to show the stream monsters the new stuff they found, if so I missed it.

The 1 use anywhere juggle seems tight. I doubt K' still has his anywhere juggles?

@Custle That's a good point about making characters more able to get big damage. This is why I really hope angel and ramon are similar to there 02um style. They shouldn't make every character in the game easy to pick up. If you want easier characters to play there are plenty of them already.

Do you think you can do a rush combo into a DM then advanced cancel or Climax afterwards.

Kofxiiium? Those sneaky buggers! Are they going to give us a new kof and update their last 2d one for us? That would make me so damn happy!

I think the kof14 silhouette shows rugal. Looks that way to me.

If you click the kof13 picture there's a match between goro and robert and on p1 side the next character is tung.

So good if this is real!

Haha! It struck me that that one 13um picture could so easily be fake. I just want this to be real. I want them to keep 2d kof alive.

Who knows though. Clearly they had massive leaks on kof 14.


On a different note; A lot of the music heard in kof 14 so far sucks. The new saxophone theme is great but that generic football music with whistles and shit makes me want to hurl. I really hope that some of the songs currently in the game are thrown out or perhaps en up in an alternate soundtrack.

I too would take this XIIIUM rumor with grain of salt. If it were true, it could be re-balanced XIII or XIII with content that had to be cut years ago.

Music on the other hand... What I've heard so far, new Esaka is kinda meh, I liked this saxophone theme, although it sounded like a opening to a crime TV-series. What I've heard from streams, I guess K' team's theme sounds kinda nice. I still hope I can buy soundtrack someday.

Ahhh we seen a pic of supposedly dlc leak characters afew weeks ago with a list of like 10 dlc character names. Nothing was discussed afterwards though. Unless they are new pics of course.
