Info:

We are postponing Game of Death 2011 to rearrange it around The KOF Cup 2011 in March. Hummer will be present at this particular tournament instead! The 3rd chapter of Mexico vs. Japan will happen now! The 3rd and most intriguing chapter of Mexico vs. Japan up to this point is going to happen in Juarez, Mexico, right after Kula's defeat in Juarez at the hands of Zeus, it is time to up the stakes BIG TIME!!

What's at stake:
**1st place in 2002 gets a trip to Lima, Peru for MEXICO VS. PERU 2011 in June!!!!!
Chance to play vs. Hummer from Fukuoka, Japan for GGPO Bragging rights!**

Yes that's right we are talking about planning a full scale North vs. South 6 on 6 in 2002, summoning players such as Kula, Osmani, Bart, Skato, Alexis, Lalo, Zeus, Abraham, Khannibal, Esteban all in one particular tournament!!!!

We know you all have heard Kula's reply to the South Americans in regard to KOF, now it is time to see who will be the representative in Peru for Mexico in 2011!!!

Mexico leads Japan 1.5 to 0, will Hummer help Japan get on the board??? Will Mexico continue to show it's power in KOF?

Will Zeus win AGAIN??????? Is Kula ready to take on the USA in KOF 13????? (I will be the Gatekeeper lol)

All this to be decided at THE KOF Cup-The TRI-National Championship for KOF 2002 (Mexico, USA, Fukuoka, Japan)

Games:
KOF 2002
KOF 2002 UM
KOF 98UM
KOFXI
KOFXII

Something I've been meaning to ask you Dark Geese. Since you've experienced the Mexican game so much compared to us, do you think 2k2UM will ever overtake OG2k2 as the KOF game to play in Mexico? If not, what are the chances KOF13 can uncrown OG2k2?

It is possible that 2k2UM will overtake it, but the quickest game to overtake 2k2 is 13..

This tournament just keeps getting better and better guys! Rino from Guadalajara is confirmed to show up in the tournament, so now we will have someone who knows Hummer VERY VERY WELL so we are going to have a three part GGPO Challenge now:

Rino-Osmani-Kula vs. Hummer GGPO Challenge!

Rino will play vs. Hummer first, then Osmani, then Kula!

Just wanted to give you guys that update plus I am playing around with my software to make this event have an SBO style presentation here is my latest experiment video I'm looking for comments and suggestions to make this thing better!

We are officially 3 weeks away from what will be the tournament of the year for KOF in the Western Hemisphere outside of Battle 4 Mexico 2011 in November..we got something SPECIAL planned for that you guys just wait!

Man this match is a long wait

3 weeks isn't that bad is it? It's also given me time to plan out everything possible to make sure every angle is covered from this tournament, like we are ALSO doing a Tournament of Champions like JuareZ WarZone and we are doing a 2v2 or 3v3 tournament!

Okay man thats cool. Here guys are a couple of pre tournament interviews that I am going to post and I am gathering as many of them as I can from people around the KOF world here are a few of them right now:

Emil:

NUTS from Tijuana, Mexico:

Also here are the groups that the KOF 2002 pools will be in Round 1, each of the following names will have their own group:

Hummer, Kula, Bart, Andres, Luis Cha, Skato, Osmani, Zeus.

Hummer will play FIRST.

Also where we will be will have internet, so possibly for future reference we WILL be able to live stream, not now too late to plan for that, so for the next time we will shoot for that. BUT, with that said, I will start creating the Live Updates thread like next Thursday in results so check frequently because you will see alot of updates from myself about stuff that is happening everyday of the tournament!

Emil doesn't like doing anything in public from what I have heard so I take it it is not going to go down at the given time.

If it doesn't go down that would be kinda pathetic since I'd imagine Alexis has put so much effort into getting accustomed with everything GGPO.

I know Alexis is going to be ready either way, but if it doesn't happen sorry I don't really care because I'm pretty much past that, there are going to be far superior players for Alexis to be focusing on so in the end to me it doesn't really matter that much and I am CERTAIN Alexis feels the same way, especially with players like Hummer, Kula, Bart, Osmani, Skato, Luis Cha, Andres and more being present...

Emil is no longer remotely a concern.
