Artist Alex Krahenbuhl Does a Tribute to Garou: Mark of the Wolves

Few artists take the time to really capture the art in video games. To really see within is truly a sign of true vision. And Kansas city artist Alex Krahenbuhl does just that. He really captured the essence of movement in each super art move in Garou: Mark of the Wolves in a way never seen before.

Take a look to see what I mean.

Crazy Battle Circuit Garou Tournament – 5/25/19

Don’t miss the sixth battle on the 2019 Crazy Battle Circuit, slated to be Garou on Fightcade 1! The tournament will take place on Saturday, May 25th at 12PM PT (3PM Eastern). To see more details and sign-up, please see the official website’s page for the game at http://cbc.dx.am/garou.html or the Challonge page.

This is a free, online tournament for Garou: Mark of the Wolves. The tournament is open to players of all skill levels and worldwide as long as you have stable internet. Wireless connections are not outright banned, but do make sure you can have rollback-free matches on Fightcade before entering. If your connection causes matches to be unplayable, you will be DQ’d.

Be sure to catch all the action whether you’re an entrant or spectator. All matches will be streamed at https://www.twitch.tv/crazyli825.

When signing up, it’s best to make note of your Fightcade handle for easy identification. For best results, make sure to be present in the aforementioned Twitch channel for match call-outs and other information. Join our official Discord Server to keep up with events, results, and to find practice matches.

When starting matches, the host of the match should hit F3 to restart the game. Failure to do so may cause part of your match to not be caught on stream. Restarting first gives the host and commentators a chance to load up the match so that they may catch all the action properly. Please do not rush to start your match.

Curious how much fun these tournaments can be? Check out the previous two Garou tournaments from 2017 and 2018:

Recently we did a poll to decide which post should be next for our collaboration. The clear winner was the “Top 3 Garou Matches”. That right there is a tough call being the game over two decades old.

So we asked the community which matches were considered a good fit to show to the general audience, and these were the winners:

3.- STAR FEAST SPECIAL (2018.2.10)
GRAND FINAL: JR (Kevin) vs Vanilla (Kain) [07:57:13]

2.- Grudge Match (2008.04.25)
Wata (Rock) vs Charles Wain (Kain)

Tamura (Marco) vs Goro (Terry)

Hope you guys liked this top 3. Next post will be about the different versions to get of Garou. See you next time!
