Antonov is a character who uses brute force to deal damage. He used to be able to do a ton of silly yet very damaging loops but sadly it got nerfed but at least they gave him the ability to OTG with his super. Low combo potential and I really hoped that Antonov would have been able to juggle after his specials since with certain setups, he can put the opponent in a very high juggle state but yeah… it doesn’t reward you with anything no matter how high or low the opponent is.
Ryo’s combos are very troublesome due to multiple segments being character specific due to different hurtboxes. Ryo got a nice buff to his combos and that being his EX Zanretsuken being an anywhere juggle (I invented that term by the way. Yes, shameless plugging). While it does extend his combos, a lot of his EX moves can only be used once in a combo, still hindering his combo potential but luckily a lot of his moves put the opponent in a juggle state, still being able to dish out some cool combos… if you’re in the corner.
Sennen War has uploaded recently 3 very short combo videos for KOFXIV Ver 1.12, for characters Angel, Ryo Sakazaki, & Yuri Sakazaki! The combos featured start off very easy and basic, then progress to more difficult Max Mode combos & advanced setups!

“Although Ryo is a character that requires a low amount of execution, it was very difficult thinking up new ways to push his limits until I remembered that Ryo can juggle some characters higher than usual allowing new ways to juggle. To even push his character specific juggles further, Ryo has character specific juggles that allows him to trade sides with the opponent, allowing for some rather stylish options. I guess the hitboxes for characters in the game are quite different afterall?”
“King’s juggles pretty much go in one direction (which means there’s not much room to optimize) so I feel that I’ve pretty much completed her combos on my first try other than one combo. I felt something about the combo was off and I realized that I could get 4 more damage by adjusting it. There’s other juggles that I’ve seen around (for the arcade version) but sadly they don’t work for the console version or else I would be able to improve this video further. So yeah, not much in terms of improvements but at least you can now watch it in 60 frames per second.”
