First I'm gonna play arcade mode to defeat Billy and unlock him then I´ll do what ever is required to unluck Saiki.
Unlocking the characters is top priority for me.

Same here, I really want to try them out and see if they're worthwhile.

I'm picking up the game on my lunch break, coming home to install and then, as soon as I get home from work, I'm choosing King/Joe/? and hitting online! No hesitation!

There is some rumor at NeoGAF from the user robut, he is saying he works at Gamestop and he saw in the computer that KOFXIII got delayed to Nov 23rd, which lands on Wednesday and not Tuesday.

Although the Gamestop Website and Amazon still say the game will come out on Oct 25th, so lets hope he just made a wrong read or it was a mistake.

So, it's probably been asked before, but does everyone know what they're going to do first when they get their copy of KOF XIII in one month?

I'm gonna be playing the game on a pad for the first time, so I'll definitely be going to practice mode to get adjusted to the inputs. Maybe try out that mission mode that tests combos. It's probably gonna take me at least thirty minutes to feel comfortable doing my go-to combos.

After that, it's straight to network mode. Gotta put that netcode through it's paces.

skip school and play the game naked also a bunch of training since i refuse to learn anything about a game i cant touch

While I don't think 10/25 is solid, 11/23 isn't that sensible a date, and would be after Europe, which I just don't see happening period.

First thing I'll do with my copy of XIII? Maybe a bit of poking around in practice mode, and then straight online to test the netcode with my friends. Mind you I have to test it on two different versions of the game...maybe I'll have the PS3 and 360 running at the same time, lol

What I do for every fighting game.  Go to training, learn my shit, then run through arcade mode to brush up.

Well I did not see anything about the rumor. At the Amazon the date is still 10/25/2011.
I hope there will not be any change...but if they are going to put out something creepy, I would rather they dilate the releasing date.

Well I always read the manual first, since I usually don't arrive home right after picking up the game. So I tend to open the game and read the manual and check if it has good artwork or not. Loved the Catherine Color manual, so I assume Atlus will make the Manual full color.
