Fightpads?

I'm a stick player, but I recently got a Hori Fighting Commander 3 Pro for my birthday, because using stick at night disturbs my partner's sleep due to the noise, and I'm up all night w our new baby all the time now. It's *great* - easily the best pad I've ever used in my life, although I will say this - playing KOF on it is a real pain for me, I have a hard time being accurate with my jumps and hops on anything but a stick, but that's probably not the pad's fault so much as my ineptness with pad. Using the Dual Shock 3 makes me want to throw the thing across the room, this one's soooo much better!

Try the reverse Hyper Jump method to get hops out. Basically jump, then quickly hit down as you jump. Takes a while to get used to it on a pad.
