Issue's with Import data on both PC/360 and it's specifically if you didn't change your Shep importing in 2. Since I did it, I'm affected and it won't allow me to use my import data.

Until they fix that, guess I'll wait for SFxTK to arrive.

So it's hard to understand how both AvP sucked balls.

Here's my take on that. Even though I like the AvPs on some levels, they messed up in key areas, areas I don't think even they realize they messed up in. Principle, the best parts of the AvP were the creatures, Aliens were awesome, Predators were awesome (even a shoutout to the Predalien [Hybrid I call him]), but the humans were just terrible. Scientists and small-town occupants are supposed to cut it against the baddest extra-terrestrials ever? Their contribution was nothing more than fodder for the next kill.

The humans set the tone of every movie. The colonial marines (Aliens) and spec ops in Guatemala (Predator) are classic because of those characters. Even "reformed" convicts (Alien 3) and cops in the middle of a drug/street war (Predator 2) worked.

What made Predators work for me was a cast of nothing-but-badasses, like a World Warriors cast of killers. Prometheus will work hopefully due to good stylings AND good characters.

Just keep the characters real, make them memorable ("Game over man!" "Get to the Choppa!" and the like), and let the Aliens/Predators be themselves, at worse you've got a decent movie.

If Robert Rodriguez took a shot at AVP, I'd be pretty hyped. Just because he sticks with comic book conventions, which is exactly the strength of both series.

I just wish they'd hire H.R. Giger back. I love his art and it's why the Alien series had such striking designs.

I didn't really like Predators. I thought it was okay, but not as good as Predator 1 and 2. My big problem with Predators was (bad grammar): It lifted too many scenes from the first Predator and Topher Grace was pretty pointless. Yeah, he's a Dahmer caricature and he's ultimately there for one twist, but he's Topher Grace and he frankly doesn't belong in a Predator Movie. He's a good actor but you don't take a guy like that and just stick him with a bunch of bad asses like Danny Trejo or even Jesse Ventura.

AVP Requiem is a guilty pleasure. I love it for the carnage, the Wolf predator being badass, and the PredAlien. I hate the fact it's so by the numbers and really darkly lit.

If it makes you feel even better Prometheus (the Alien Prequel) supposedly brought H.R. Giger back.

Well at the end , is Prometheus a true Alien prequel/movie or not? i know it's in the same universe i think, but i see people saying it's not a TRUE Alien movie.

Anyways i'm going to watch it.
