It's got puzzles. Very much like point and click title, it's just really streamlined, much like the mystery titles of the NES era. Also, there's no extensive voice acting which a staple for the visual novel.

Very streamlined is putting it mildly.  Besides, does KH having rail shooter sections make it a Rail Shooter?

And Katawa Shoujo is one of the better VN's around and it has no Voice Acting whatsoever.
On 5/26, something that defined a generation shall make its rightful return.  #Toonamisbackbitches.  Prepare yourselves.  Bang.

Have you ever played a point and click game? They tend to have puzzles, one path and don't revolve around trying to getting H scenes. KS doesn't have voiceovers because it's a US made game. Sam & Max has more gameplay and characters than KS and doesn't need you banging an armless girl because you feel sorry for her.

Seriously, you" point and click" at items, use your brain, interrogate and figure logic puzzles in Ace Attorney. You don't keep skipping the dialogue until you put on a pearl necklace on a girl with a burned face.

Here let me help you and Xxenace because he hasn't apparently played real point and click games:

Sam & Max Hit the Road
Day of the Tentacle
Monkey Island
Gabriel Knight Adventures
King's Quest
Full Throttle
Grim Fandango

Get acquainted because you have absolutely no idea how very different the genres are.

And AA is NOTHING like those games other than the action of pointing and clicking and having one path.

And the fact that you're so pathetic to talk shit on KS like that like every other hive mind piece of crap that honestly, you're not worth any of my respect.  Seriously, and I'll put it bluntly, do well to fuck off.

Stop fighting wankas, now it's time for a group hug, but Xxenace and Saitsu shouldn't stand next to each other in the hug.

In other news i'm addicted to Tales of Graces f , it's been a long, long time since a game did that.

HAHHAHAHAHAH yea that should fix it!

Excuse me while I shed a tear of joy.  To see the temporary return of Toonami and to see Tom break down Mass Effect 3 (with surprisingly recent info considering he brought up the possibility of a new DLC ending)...it was like the world shined in a brilliant light.

Considering the newest...sponsorship the FGC has received, I think this song is very appropriate.

so after hearing about all this kickstarter hoo-hah you think anybody will ever use it to fund a fighting game?

Delta

So far i'm not interested about these kickstarter games.

Dunno about fighting games, but i would be tempted to put all of my money if developers use it to make a game i want, like a new Legacy Of Kain for example.
