It was a nice turnout despite the Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene preventing a number of players from coming out. Shoutouts to Hubbs for streaming and recording the tournament, to all the players in all games who weathered the storm and came out regardless. Summer Jam was a great fun time.

Also, my apologies to anyone who tried to watch the stream around 7pm when it was originally scheduled. There was a streaming issue that popped up throughout the venue around then, and all the secondary streams were instructed to shutdown. With the agreement of the participants, we delayed the Garou tournament to later.

Hope to see people come out for NEC near the end of the year!

Thanks for putting things together and all, man.  It was a lot of fun.

Still a little upset at myself for not at least trying Freeman in my last match *laughs* .  I know Grant should be a better choice against Gato (assuming the player can actually play Grant and Freeman well, neither of which is very true for me), but Freeman's j.B would've helped deal with Gato's qcb+K crap so much better, and the counter super would've helped in dealing with getting rushed down.  Oh well, it's not like I was really expecting to go far in the bracket.  I learned some and had a good time, which is all I really could've asked for (plus this trip included my first visit in over a decade to IHOP and my first visit ever to a Fuddruckers, despite requiring driving all the way out to Lancaster for that *laughs*).

Definitely hoping I can make it to NEC .  All the better if I'm improved any at this game by then *laughs*

Jt using toptiers booooooooo...j/k. Glad to see people still keeping the game active. I hope it all works out in NEC as well. I also hope steve H steps up his game. I would love to make it out but money and my works schedule keeps me from doing much of anything on the weekends -_-.
