bug and exploit? of course console version

Hi all, i'm starting new topic because the oldiest one about the bug was closed.

just to recap them and discuss if are legit or not (of course it's not for flame, i'm enjoying this game so much) and demand/ask for a gameplay patch to atlus/snkp like nilcam did for the netplay, for now there are two point to discuss:

1) damage scaling freeze and activation:

already pointed there and on SRK forum a guy did the homework and find just one other use with mature (dm connect during the hit of ex tears) this one seems no game breaking because have less chance to occour (at least i sense that, chin NM isn't invincible on startup, and with mature you have to mash a dm before the tears hits so good luck). later i search that thread too.

the second one smells:

2) normal throw combo in the corner:
all of us know (thx guys http://www.elive.pro/en/watch/ulAoJYsrw2kL look around min 8:00 if someone didn't know) about the magic behind benimaru in the corner... and it can lead to some good combo around 400 with good work, but a friend discover the same thing with kensou and chin!!! them have more easy 500 damage combo xD chin just qcf.qcf.AC, kensou have ex rdp.BD, (air) qcb.P, rdp.BD again or whatever a good kensou can do (and of course i think chin can do better than just a ex dm, was right my example).

no other guys have it, the one with good falling animation like yuri, andy, raiden, hwa, joe and other guys can't combo with the falling animation of the regular throw... beni, kensou and chin yes o.O, and ex collider of benimaru  (of course other special, like ex command throw of betty) say wtf snkp!


jesus christ this is legit... was a console change declared from snkp for chin! (beni and kensou not.. btw)

3) Daimon (c->hcb,f+AC -> hcf+A) bounce and didn't connect, one post below xD http://youtu.be/YYC2-A3mPQw

Appears that at some point in that air grab attack (or more likely it's due to that particular set up) there's a dodgey hitbox, causes the opponent to 'bounce' instead of being plucked out of the air.

Doesn't always happen, but if your timing is bad (like me) it can be a little worrying.

Also does not appear to be opponent character specific (tested against flame iori, claw iori, raiden, and i think i tried kyo too.)

Chin being able to combo off his normal throw in the corner is intended. It was even featured in one of SNKP's changelist blogs/videos. Don't know about Kensou or Benimaru though.

Chin, Kensou, and Beni being able to combo off corner throws was mentioned and talked about for weeks before the game came out. Frionel noted it with his testing of the game, and the eLive crew highlighted it some more in their focused character change videos.

So no Bug / Glitch with that.

The Goro thing... yeah, that's pretty odd. Wonder if you can ;df ;c to combo off it? *cackle* I wonder if it's related to the "if opponenet hits an AA throw, then a counter-hit occurs, causing both opponenets to blow back" condition that exist for these throws...

Yeah, that shit is legit...makes Kensou Corner Rape that much more...rapey.

I found something about EXIori, and this is a bug...
When you MaxCancel a DM into his NeoMax, that whiff most of the time!...  :/
Hope they fixe it!

Also old, it was in the arcade version as well.  The very first Chinese combo video had him doing that then he would do three df.C after that for timing's sake.

I posted this bug/issue sometime ago, but there was no response, so I will post it here instead. Character play counts and lost colours. Eg, If you play Iori 40 times, you unlock all the colors. But sometimes when you boot up wour console again, the play count will be lesses, for my case it went to 28, and the colors earned are lost!

Not really game breaking but frustrating when you want to edit the colors.

Yes the color bug is so stupid.

My colors are getting locked back all the time. I have put a played a ton of matches with various characters and they don't have a single unlocked color. Even if I see it unlocked its locked again when I turn the game on at a later time.

Ahhh, didn't keep up with the arcade version much so didn't know that.

Strange how it happens though, can't figure out the reason for it causing the bounce. (And for not fixing it.)

Will have to try throwing in the uppercuts though, thanks.

I'm talking about offline mode versus, if you don't believe me, you can keep track on the character play count and see what happens after a few days.
