He did indeed.  BEHOLD, OPTIC BLAST!!!!!!!!!  Keep on moving.

In other news, just read the shit going on in the first part of Book 4 for Avatar, aka Avatar: The Promise Part 1.

Looks like shit was not all sunshine and sprinkles after the war after all.

What is that? I know TLA ended with Book 3: Fire, they are starting LOK with Book 4 or something like that? Please enlighten me.

Saitsuofleaves

Oh, it's a comic series made to connect the happenings after the The Last Airbender series, and segue into The Legend of Korra.  It's pretty much Book 4.

Thanks for that info buddy.
Is it an official comic? As if : Is it canon?

Saitsuofleaves

It's official and indeed very canon.

And again, shit was not all good after the war.

alright finished shizune's arc at 7 hours on the dot  i dont think it was bad at all i just stayed kind of level through out the whole time and i prefer it over emi's. all thats left to do is check the bad ending  and then right after start lily's part

also and i dont know if this is true or not a friend told me that there was  a secret path i figured i hold off on it til after i do rins part i just hope he's not pulling my leg

Saitsuofleaves

He's talking about Kenji's path I assume.  It's not that big of a secret.

Also, 7 hours, geez, if Shizune's took you that long, Lilly and Rin's will eat you alive.  We won't be seeing you until Monday.

And AGAIN, I'd highly advise doing Rin's BEFORE Lilly's.  I wish I had.

The thing is, you're right, it wasn't...bad persay, but there were again, three plot points they could've easily went off of to make the arc great and they completely dropped the ball.  I'll list them in the Spoiler by importance from least important 1 to Most important, 3.
1. The fact that Misha is a Lesbian.  She brings it up for 5 minutes, never really mentioned again.  Uh huh, what the hell?  You'd think Hisao would press that issue a bit more.

2. The fact that Misha was freaking suicidal.  Okay, THAT should've raised a red flag.  Hisao probably should've mentioned to Shizune, yeah, winning back Misha's friendship is good and all, but push in the wrong way, and she might kill herself.

3.  Most importantly, and honestly something they definitely should've dealt with to avoid being Misha heavy (which it was, honestly the arc was more about Misha than about Shizune), was address the fact that Shizune's family is a bunch of assholes who don't really give a crap about Shizune's condition, her father especially.  Instead of working to help and support her no matter what, he constantly degrades her and all of her friends, tried to get tutors to get her to "speak right" when anyone with half a brain knows how hard that would be, and gives her a cellphone to use but never texts her to communicate.  He doesn't give a crap about his daughter at all, and while, yes I can understand the...hesitancy to do anything considering he's a very big, angry man with a katana in hand, it could've made a great plot point where Hisao has to learn to stand up for his loved ones no matter what.  They should've made it so Hisao would man up, and talk his condescending ass down.  Would've made it great.
I don't know, I didn't HATE the arc, it just disappointed in a lot of ways.  It had potential but it was a bit of a let down altogether.  Being level wasn't that great, since the portrayal of a normal relationship was done better in other arcs, Emi's in particular.  Plus, like I said in the spoiler, the arc turned a lot more Misha-centric than Shizune-centric.

You really get more out of it if you do the Bad Ends first. Tends to make everything more impactful that way. Maybe it's just me.

Probably, I wouldn't know.  I avoided the bad ends like a plague (by avoid, I mean I tried to get the good ends...and happened to get all of them first try except for Hanako's, for whom I got her Neutral End first try).
