Is there a problem with the shout box in the main page?

For some reason, it keeps asking me to add a name and website. i'm already logged in when I'm in the forums. did something change that I missed?

This explains why it's been so dead. I installed a "bridge" that linked the wordpress-powered homepage and the forum. After a recent update, the bridge is no longer compatible. Your forum credentials will still log you in on the homepage so you can use the shoutbox. One of the reasons comments are now handled via Disqus is that bridge issue.
