GGs to all the KOF players I played this past weekend. It was good seeing fellow KOF players from out of town make it out. Shoutouts to Desmond Delaghetto, we finally got to play each other and it was fun. Also to David Kong, it was nice talking to you and good games, looking forward to playing you again at EVO. Looking forward to seeing everybody at EVO. Hope to see you all again in next year's tournament.

Good showing by Chicago in this event. Great tournament. Great experience.

Excuse me, do you know anything about the Mad Angels?

In it to win it!

I can't wait to check out the archives!

Also, my favorite player over the weekend was Mario E aka El Nino. That dude should go into stand-up comedy, hes funny as fuck. Great player too, I was really rootin on him to whoop Justin Wong...hehe.

I think everybody's favorite player in The KOF tournament was Mario. Main reason because of the OG mentality and the godlike MK stick, lol. Also, I just realized that I was beat by two Mexicans this tournament, so I don't feel so bad. Lol.

i was impressed by all the support (and gdlk play) from the twin cities for kof. glad to know chicago isnt the only midwest spot trying to grind it out in this game.
unfortunately i had a ton to drink this weekend so desmond and zo are the only names i remember for kof players i met...but regardless, shoutouts to all the other GNG guys i met and everyone else...if any of you got a chance to play a bearded man who smelled like beer and was sporting a red bandana all weekend, gg's!

and huge shoutouts to the yuri players! every single one of you had different tricks up your sleeve. it was awesome to see her played in so many different ways. inspired me to pick up yuri asap haha

Sup Soufside! I think we played some casuals. Thanks for the props, I'm trying my best to get KOF a much more stronger presence both player base wise and skill-wise for we can be more prepared next time. The tournament was extremely fun and enjoyable and we will be back next year!!!

that we did! good meeting you man. theres a couple wisconsin guys that come down to chicago for ranbats once in a while who occasionally host tournaments up in there hometown...maybe that can be a middle ground for us to meet up again sometime before next year (assuming that kof is played)

keits had 8 teams picked with the game's random select the night before and auctioned off the three characters together one team at a time. he did the same thing with the mvc3 auction...only that was worse cause the assists were random as well lol. the only thing you had control over was team order.
