+Lots of charas, team battle & festive feel still there
*Story abit shallow, but intriguing as start of new arc
+System is close to 2D NeoGeo era
+Glad there's still 3-on-3
*Chara models lacking for PS4 but fluid movements
*Simple fighting game, but comebacks make it exciting
+Tutorial is smooth & easy to follow
+Movements still quick even in 3D
-Some characters may have different impressions from before

So, Famitsu took the crown of first review apparently.

Not surprise really. I see fighting games as "7/10" games. They are good, but have their problems and are more of a niche game or cult classic. It really depends what flavor of fighting game you like. Good score, didn't penalize that much because of graphics.

I can see Kof getting fairly good to average review scores due to it having a nice amount of singleplayer content and a huge roster, "casuals" love that type of stuff. However I predict that it will be blasted for sub-par graphics and mediocre online. Although I can't see it getting a worse reception than Sfv on launch. However the only opinion on the game that should matter is your own.

They shouldn't have re-released that pachislot video. Now everyone's freaking out and thinking they've re-entered the pachinko business. But mostly because a good portion of the fanbase doesn't care.

King having autoguard on her far B is surprising. I'm looking forward to see how K! and kula's combo's develop. Trying hard not to spoil it for myself by not watching the vids. This is tough, I did watch a couple of vids though.

I thought I'd say this, but I'm looking forward to Maxima...

I just got e-mail from the store I pre-ordered the game. Supplier had said that they get the copies of the games week after release... Little bit pissed off, but not the end of the world though. At least I avoid potential day one issues.

Tomorrow can't come soon enough. Really not sure who i will play, but Yuri is most likely going to be on my team as i played her, (probably my best character) in XIII.
