So it's safe to assume that NO ONE can block Chin's overhead? I don't recall seeing get blocked at all. No matter the source the overhead always lands. It doesn't even look that fast. It doesn't make any sense.

chins overhead is WAY too fucking obvious (slow). his lows are way too short (but fast), but he can dish out good damage.

Chin's overhead is not unblockable. They're probably not used to seeing Chin players.

This. You can even 1-frame him (command throws) if, you block the overhead, and the Chin player is trying to go for the Quickie Punch block string.

Haha quickie punch, I've been trying to figure out a name for that move whenever I ask people about it I just do the hand gestures lol

Yeah, in XII I think it was the UK peeps that coined that term, so since then it's stuck. It's not the official name but it's the name that most ppl go by or recognize so it stuck. It feels fitting, doesn't it?

Nice to see more characters this time. Interesting, no Kyo and just one Elisabeth in 16 videos.

What's wrong with Terry and Ryo? I think they are the less selected characters in this game (excepting vice, hwa and ralf because of their bugs, I guess).

Watched just a few so far but dang the 3rd vid has the best Ash thus far.

EDIT: a pretty good Clark in the 4th vid, nice BnB combo.

Other than that the vids were kinda boring.

Yeah thanks man, curing my boredom at work.

Watched the first Tougeki 8 and those are solid. Watch out folks, a really solid Kim is in town. Love what they have done with the guy and can't wait to main him. The dash kick will be a big part of his offence, both combo and outside. Looks like you make be able to hit confirm it into super. Also looks like Kim is pretty safe if they block it and you don't follow it up with anything, makes Kim rebound at a distance.

Also a good Ryo in there. He can do really good HD damage without meter. Overall he feels a lot more down to earth than Robert and Takuma, they feel more unique and fleshed out, so far anyway.

Also a pretty sweet supercanel (but no drive cancel) corner combo for Ralf.

And looks like Ash can combo after jump in attack, sC, A fireball in the corner. The guy followed with a dp after the fireball without drive canceling.

Pretty good variety of character being used and great gameplay. The finals posted before were meh in comparison to these.
