Elizabeth is indeed really, really violent... Even if K', Kyo, Mature etc ( the first top tiers according to Arcadia ) are strong, Liz seems to be a potential God tier. Too much damaging combo whithout the need of much HD gauge and/or supers. And it's like she can land those combo wherever and whenever she wants. It seems so easy. Fuck.

Agreed on most points.  The truth is, everyone has damaging combos, but the key is like mentioned before is a) how little stocks/cancel guage is needed and b) how easy/openings it is to setup the combo c) (least important but still an annoyance) how easy the actual combo is.

She's landing a bit too many 60/70% combos using only half an HD gauge and only 1 or 2 bars of Super... hmm.

She doesn't even need a cancel guage!

Aye... Imagine the easy nerf of Betty "She no longer has an HD meter... she's strong enough without one." It was nice to see the other players start to catch on to her setups (Backwards Tele -> C Uppercut actually was getting blocked after a while!), and she looked more reasonable after that. She's giving Yuri's Saifa! juggles a run for their money. Suprising, since Betty felt so... meh... back in XII. Normals look so much better now.

I believe the arcade operator can control such things in the dipswitch settings. Maybe the arcade prefers lots of turtley matches?

That's really powerfull 100%, Takuma gain so much super and HD here that he only needs 100 % HD (for 3 DC) meter and 2 stocks. Overpowered. No need for the EX Hienshippukyaku bug. I guess for many character this kind of combo is better than going for an HD mode combo.

people need to stop freaking out about characters being strong

a lot of them can do huge damage with only a small amount of meter

Hmm can anyone figure out what's shown at the beginning? Against Liz it seems to be showing that you can reversal a special (e.g. her dodge) from the GCAB roll and there will be no vulnerability window. It also seems those two chars can block meaty attacks when recovering from GCAB, but K' can't? Not sure what is being shown with the Iori example.

Wow, at around 14:40, Fully drunken Chin completly MAULS Iori. That's like, what, 70% life combo off EX Counter? SO dangerous!
Rather enjoyed that vid; it's nice to see people who don't look completly robotic in the way they fight...

btw Elizabeth is in no way broken... but i'm calling her the new and improved XI Kula... without her counter and command throw, she already almost matches XI Kula... add her EX counter, i say she already surpassed XI Kula... add the EX command throw, she surpassed KGO...

Holy snap, that was crazy. Heh guess that right there is Chin's shinanigan, that was a simple but hard hitting 90% combo.

Watching those matches was like slow mo compared to the 17 vids posted earlier.
