I do not know if you all are aware, but there is a Japanese player named No. 17 from California that is attending a tournament in Puebla, Mexico this coming weekend for KOF 13, I do not know if you all know about him, but I thought I would bring that up because it is ironic that there will be two Japanese players in Mexico on back to back weekends and Kula will be at both tournaments (March 5th Puebla tournament, March 10-13 The KOF Cup with Hummer).

Kula told me first about this, I checked on Cx.com and I did see the thread with the guy posting up, so I thought you guys would be interested in hearing that.


Kula even told me he is going to give me the videos when I see him in Juarez, so that would be something I think good to talk to him about.

The Japanese player said he's not that good in 13 but I guess now Mexican KOF is gaining steam on an international level (I wonder why? lol) so Japanese players want to go play there!

There is the thread by the way, yes they are speaking in Spanish, but No. 17 is speaking in English, so you can see this guy is flying out from LOS ANGELES... (Yamato talks about it in Spanish about flying from LA to Puebla)

I will contact this guy on your behalf, I have an interview scheduled with him that people will do for me this weekend, I will upload it to my youtube channel accordingly and get in contact with this No. 17 player.

As for this No.17 guy, where do these random ppl come from?  Surely they've heard of AI if they play KOF.  Maybe he's like that one Moroccan guy that only plays on console but lives only 30 mins from AI (or where AI was *sob*).

From what they are saying in the thread, this No. 17 guy is of a better skill level than he led them to believe in KOF13, and in addition to this he is not complaining about the sticks or buttons or anything else!!!!

Now that Alex's Arcade has the old XIII board from AI, it's interesting to see a new community grow and frankly pretty exciting. 

Just today we had a couple of interested ppl wanting to learn the game, I hope he registers here (Dan).   One step at a time but I'm confident we can get 5-6 new players in a month or so.
