The characters I plan to use are:
K, Kula, Maxima, Chin, Iori, Ash, Leona, King, Takuma, Robert and Benimaru.

Team order? I usually don't care about the order.

But you GOTTA select your odor!

I just go to who I want to play first. I don't think of it that much. lol

Having Terry, Ralf and Clark will make you smell manly men.

Anyway, it's fine to have no sense of who's gonna be anchor and all, since even with the order, the anchor might not even have stocks if the character prior used them all before getting KO'd. Still, it does make things easier for you.

Personally, I tend NOT to think about the character order. For me, I really just choose who I want to play next, and I have the tendency to use Single/Team Random too. However, I do pick someone last sometimes, because he'd get more power stocks than the first two. Ash is a great example for that since he can get the most out of five full power stocks. (Admittedly, it's not really the case for me since I can't do crap with Sans Cullottes. I pick him last cause I know his general play style and could bail me out in tight matches).

Still mo sweet Chariots, keep on swingin'!

sibarraz

I can't see why not, at least all the old games from SNKP in XBLA has been like that, I doubt that this will be the exception

It has already been stated that you can play with anyone worldwide. I assume that means everyone gets the same netcode.

Check the official site if you don't believe me. http://www.atlus.com/kofxiii/

This has been on my mind for a long time. I've been wondering how would you guys feels about people macroing buttons?

If you're talking about people using extra buttons for like C+D and stuff, I personally don't use those but if it helps more people get into the game I say they can go right ahead.

Now if you're talking about buttons that execute an entire combo, that's taking it too far.
Shoulda used the chainsaw!

It depends in a controller pad sometimes is a real pain in the ass to press 2 buttons together

For example, on the XBOX, I had no problems with AB, CD and BD, but with AC and specially BC, I had to use macros, same with ABC, but just pressing A and the BC button I could do it fine

About macroing combos, is that even possible? I know that XBLA games had command combos, but all of them can't be used in XBOX LIVE matches, so I see no problems

Even using macros in an arcade stick is not that big deal for me, some people could had problems with it for whatever reason

I'm taking about the first, but now you reminded of KOF XII's easy mode... Now it would be something if that made a return.

If someone was going to marco, besides AB, CD, and BC, is BD prefer over AC?

sibarraz

Is more easy to press bd than ac in a pad, at least for me

I don't see a problem with people using extra buttons, hell i use them to play Tekken with the DualShock 3.

But when i'm using an arcade joystick (MadCatz, etc) i don't use such extra buttons.
