FINAL ROUND XV

We are proud to announce that FINAL ROUND XV will be on March 2-4, 2012. The hype doesn't stop and we had to start extra early on planning for FR15. As of right now the Major game roster for FRXV are as followed:

The systems used will be PS3 for the time being. This may change if I get sponsorship from another source. Other games will be added to the list, but those are the core games that will be played at FR15 up to this moment. We have A LOT IN STORE for people that plan to attend FR15 that we will be hinting towards throughout the year. Being the 15th anny of FR we have to do it BIG this year event and that is one reason we are changing venues for FR15.
As always we aim to bring you the best tournament you've ever competed in each and every year and FR15 will try to top this years event! We are upgrading the venue from this past year event and we hope everyone will enjoy our new venue. The "WESTIN" is the new home of FR15 and here's the location:

With the 15th aniversary of Final Round we felt that we had to upgrade on the venue and we heard the complaints about having to pay for parking. This year there will be NO PARKING FEE'S!!!!! That goes for players that get a room at the hotel or for those that want to spectate. The Room rates will be $93.00 per night (Normally $165) if you reserve under the Final Round 15 group rate.
I CAN'T WAIT for this event to happen! If you think your serious about Fighting games and you always wanted to come to Final Round, but never had the chance to attend then don't MISS the 15th aniversary of FINAL ROUND!
Message to the STREAM MONSTER/STREAM CREEP:
This up coming year in March 2-4, 2012 FINAL ROUND XV will have 2 HIGH QUALITY Streams. It's confirmed "Team SPOOKY" at http://www.twitch.tv/teamsp00ky (http://www.twitch.tv/teamsp00ky) will be the Main stream for the 15th Anniversary of FINAL ROUND! With the excellent job "Mr. Victor Fontanez" did with FR14 we had to invite him to Stream FR15. Team spooky will be streaming All of the top 8 events on sunday March 4th, 2012 and various games throughout the 3 day event.
Also we are hype to announce that a very talented streamer called "FunkyP" at http://www.twitch.tv/funkyp (http://www.twitch.tv/funkyp) will be the 2nd stream during FINAL ROUND XV. They will also have various games during the 3 day event. A schedule for what games to be streamed will be made as the event gets closer for both streams. We at Final Round want people that aren't able to attend FINAL ROUND to sit back, relax, and watch both streams over a 3 day period. So get hype because there are more things instore to make this years event The best FINAL ROUND too date!

I heard that in the past Final Round gets some snk love from the players and I would love to compete against some of the talent of KOF XIII players has to offer in the south, and hopefully some from the east coast, thanks for the post for the info

1st of all this is comedy. I find it funny that several people had to bring this to my attention without you coming to me 1st to talk about this subject before you blew it up in a public form. (Youtube video) There's nothing I love to do is to get home after a hard days of work and see mad people PM'ing me about some video you made.
2nd of all no one is begging you to attend Final Round. You don't have to attend if you don't want to sir You haven't been to FR in several years and FR is still getting bigger and better with or without your presence at the event.
3rd. I like the challenge, but I do feel it's unfairly in your favor since the majority of the usa has not had a chance to play kof13 in the arcades. Of course I would think players that have had a chance to play kof13 for almost 2 years now will have a better understanding of KOF13 than people with only 1 month of having the game. Surely you can understand that concept,.
4th. I'm sure this video will get the people motivated to play against you and your crew at FR15 and this will add to the hype of kof13 at FR15. I feel a better test would be at fr16 when everyone has played the game for a year. That would be a better test imo, but I would love to see you guys dominate the way you are talking about. I love the idea of a challenge though Mr Allen. We do need to get and ec vs wc vs mexico rivalry going in the kof13 scene! It will only fuel both sides to get better at kof13 imo.
5th. There will be NO SIDE TOURNAMENTS WITHOUT ME SAYING IT'S OK PERIOD! You have not reached out to me in any kind of way in asking if other side events can be run at FR15, but you make a video saying that you are working on throwing other snk side tournaments for FR15 and that is a lie because you haven't spoke to me on this subject at all. Atleast show me the respect of asking me 1st before you make a video about it sir. I'm not really mad about it because I know you want to spread the love towards other snk titles. I just wish you would have asked me 1st before assuming it would be cool with me and announcing things before it was agreed apon. I will have to supply the tv's you guys are going to play on so I would like to know what the deal is with any side event at FR15.

The great thing about the vid is that it should increase the hype at FR15 between the ec vs the wc vs mexico imo and that's what our snk community needs imo to grow into a main stream game.

People in Orlando are still getting their FR plans sorted out, but this game has really taken off down here. Should be at least 3-4 solid players coming to Atlanta this year for this game. Can't wait to see the competition this year between the solid new people and the old 2k2 UM heads like Feez.

Hi, I'm not sure if this was mentioned already and sorry if it was (I skimmed through the thread and checked the site too) but do you guys know the best way to get from ATL airport to the hotel? I google mapped it and it seemed kinda far....I'd like to avoid taking a cab but if necessary, do you know an estimate of how much? X (
Hey man the easiest way to geto the hotel from the airport is to take the local transit system. Our train is called MARTA. It cost $2.50 to ride and there is a station with a train at the airport that will take you to the hotel. Check out the following website for location of stations and where you have to goto.

This is a spot for a major atlanta mall so you might get distracted by the ATL females on the train and going towards the mall.
There are 2 MARTA stations within a mile of the event hotel and you can call the hotel shuttle to pick you up from the train station if you have a room booked under the Final Round group rate. I hope this helps you out sir.
Also I have another annoument to make:
I don't know who is staying at the hotel during FINAL ROUND XV or not but just to let you guys know if you haven't got your rooms at the hotel you better get them quickly because there's ONLY 28% of the rooms left under the FRXV group rate! ($93 per night) Anything after that and I can't promise I can get more rooms released under that rate since this is a new hotel i'm in this year! With only 36 days until the event, 25 days for online registration is closed, and only 22 days to get your rooms at the FR group rate. I've had a couple of people notify me that the double bed rooms were sold out for the FRXV group rate. I called the hotel and they just added 10 double rooms to the block. You better grab them fast people because after that only single king size rooms will be availible for the FRXV group rate.

I have s special announcement for the people that plan to book their hotel rooms at the event hotel just before they attended FRXV. As of right now we are SOLD OUT of the rooms I had within my group block. I have contacted the hotel to try to get some more rooms released before our purposed deadline of Feb 16, 2012. There are more rooms available at the event hotel at the FINAL ROUND XV Group rate of $93 per night even though we have sold out of the original amount of rooms nights available for our group. During FINAL ROUND XV The hotel wireless internet is not free, but we have it at a reduce rate for those that have reserved a room under the FINAL ROUND GROUP. The wireless internet rate is $5.95 per day in your room under the Final Round group. Please make sure you recieve the correct rate if you order it for your room.

This will help us set the brackets earlier and properly seed players that are attending from around the world! If you do not register online you will not be seeded in any form or fashion! To celebrate the 15th Anniversary of FINAL ROUND along with celebrating some friends birthdays WE WILL BE THROWING A PARTY on Saturday March 3, 2012 When day 2 ends! The Hotel will set up a mini bar in the lobby for those that are of the age to have drinks while "DJ Spiralpowered" but the community knows him as "JAXX" and DJ Big NAHZ will be providing the musical entertainment for the 15th Anniversary party Your host will be Scott Popular so you know the party will be hype! Space is limited so this is 1st come 1st served party!
The party will be free to enter for players attending FRXV as long as you have your badge on ($10 without a badge), but the drinks will not be free. Beer/Wine/Mixed Drinks will be sold by the hotel mini bar at their hotel cost. Anyone that can prove their birthday is within march will get a piece of cake for sure! hey everyone. sorry to bug you but if you read this, are definitely going to final round and happen to have any space in your room to house two more people, it would be sooooo greatly appreciated if you would pm me with details. my friend and i are already registered, have bought bus tickets and are definitely going to the event but the only thing that is uncertain is a room. we have already spoken to several people about this in both the kof and the melty community but have mostly received a bunch of "maybe"s and for an event like this my friend and i have both agreed that "maybe" is not good enough. if it is at all possible for anyone going to allow us to room with them, again please pm me about information such as how much it would cost or any specific requirements or requests. i understand that most people would be a bit fifty about having people they don't know rooming with them so if it's not cool then we understand and thank you for your time.

For EVERYONE that paid online registration for your game and not your badge or vice versa you better get here early on friday morning because your registration IS NOT COMPLETE! For those that didn't online register at all you better be here bright and early on Friday March 2, 2012 because registration ends on friday! We had online registration up for 6 months so I hope you guys can make it out, but if you get here on Saturday thinking you are going to sign up for a tournament you'll be sadly mistaken. There's only 4 days until FRXV eve so get hype people! If you can get a friend to sign you up early on friday that would work also, but he needs all of your information and the money to buy the badge. I'm afraid so I believe its $20. I was in the same conflict as you but I had to be there so I did the next best thing volunteer and I couldn't be more happier about my decision. I think if you bring a setup (preferably a PS3 system , screen is a maybe)you might be able to get a discount. If your still interested, you need to be there as early as possible tomorrow (8:00am on the dot). Because I know there going to be turning people away it was packed already today and the real tournament hasn't even started so who knows what its going to be like tomorrow.
