I never played it, but from the people I know who have, its not bad... Better than SF in terms of graphics...

Well, this is relevant here, too, for those who haven't played it, because they found 8 bucks too expensive!

This port is actually pretty good!

$9 is sooo not expensive for a game with that much quality. ._.

I gotta say its pretty good, even better than sf4 or any fighting games on idevices. And It's actually really useful to try out combos, but touchscreen control will never work on fighting games, I kinda wish they'll port it to psp someday, but I doubt it because iPhone apps = more $$$$$

So it seems we now have Iori and Elisabeth
I think all KOF-i updates should go here.

Yeah, there was talk about the new update in the KOF XIII thread. Aside from Elisabeth and Iori, we also have a new stage (supposedly Takuma's AOF1 stage).
Also, I heard from somewhere else that Oct. was when the game would be fully updated.

I have it, and it's pretty decent.
the main problem with it, and with most iphone games, is that the controls are a bit iffy but SNK came up with some clever ideas on how to get around it. For instance in order to get a neomax you just tap your characters face, supers you can just tap the super bar, there's a button that triggers HD, etc.
it is also interesting how the game is pretty damn similar to the console release, with trial modes, tutorials, and a bunch of the console exclusive stages.
if you want a surprisingly decent port of KOF XIII it'll do the job, but it's not like your going to actually be able to practice the game on the go.
