noticed oklahoma has a pretty decent gathering here, which explains the stupid topic name, but anyways..
just an intro via Kane's request. first fighter ever was sf2- the original 8. probably touched on every kof in some form somehow, except maybe like a gameboy port or whatever. basically, i'll play any char on any game, but that's also the reason why i suck at everything. so yeah...
i'll try and get something like supercade set up pretty soon so i can get some learning in. as for local, uh... where's everybody from the ok situated? i'm in the city, southeast side, by crossroads. used to be in their arcade all the time.. the ol days. . . . .
Hello and welcome to Dream Cancel Kgroove, it's a pleasure to meet you.
Welcome to DC, bad puns and all. :D
welcome
Welcome to DC :) Which KOF do you like best?
Whereabouts in Oklahoma are you? It looks as though OKC will have a pretty healthy scene for XIII.
thanks all
oops..to correct my first post, i have NOT played xii. . .forget that even exists sometimes
but hm, fav kof? 13's pretty cool.. i did enjoy XI a bit, as it's one of the only kofs i own on console. nice roster, cool offscreen cameo chars, midmatch tagging kinda interesting, and all the flashiness and bold font (DREAM CANCEL) made me feel like i was doing stuff lol. this is all coming from a casual point of view though, so...
and nilcam- crossroads mall area, like around 240-35 junction. by myself as far as i know.. know a few tekken players, but they're like norman/tulsa
earthquakes wtf
I live like 7 minutes from you. I live at 235 and 4th St. in the downtown area. I have KOFXIII preordered from the Gamestop in Crossroads. We have a small group that hosts stuff, which is mostly Capcom but a few KOF players. XIII will bring a lot of players into the scene.
Welcome to DC :)
Sounds like Oklahoma's got a secret scene brewing.
Welcome to Dream Cancel. :)
i got family in oklahoma! if you see them, tell them i said "YO"
.........oh and welcome, from a fellow newcomer.
