Thread to discuss about Arcade Edition...
Do you think that loc test is only to see the balance changes?... or maybe we will have more (chars anyone?) than that?...
I'm hoping for a couple of extra characters, but also not holding my breath.
It looked like SNKP tried to add Adel in the console versions (there are some art sketches of him) but they couldn't, most likely because of time.

ok, just had my ass kicked, nothing new so far, the only change i noticed that u have to hold start to choose ex characters "not only a single press", no changes with the color palletes "same like the arcade" no customize slots of course.
so far nothing has changed.
UPDATE: u cant choose between the old or new bgm by holding start till the go sign show up, the bgm title shows up once the match starts just like the console version.
2nd UP: the title screen's background color with the big kof xiii logo is black -instead of white-

@BioBooster, finaly, did you go to any loctest?
Never played this game for a long time.
I used to play before.
Since this is just the console version with some tweaks, I wonder why we don't have a possible release date ready.
It would be nice if we did get new characters and content, even then I feel the console should have been better than what we god, plus its a great excuse for them to have a competent online like everyone else
Btw, think this is the coming week, that Climax hits the arcades right :D

Quickie: did they fix being able to tech throws after doing unsafe moves? Like Kyo's HCB grab on block.
That's not a glitch like in Marvel. Pretty sure that's an actual mechanic.

If not the whole thing then could someone translate the ex iori section. I would like to know if ex iori's empty cancels have been removed from the game.

well seeing as the ex characters, billy and saiki weren't actually in arcade version, could you pretty please tell me what it says in their respective sections? is it just a general overview of the characters? again, if there's anything regarding EX iori's empty cancels i would like to know before i waste any more time hoping its still there.
OK So southtown arcade just got climax and play a good amount of games.
TBH there are very minimal changes it seems like. There are a couple things that I came across.
Shen - Far Standing C sucks =P
- qcb + P = A LOT OF METER BUILDING!
Yuri - Seems like ex Command Grab would trade more often.
Kyo - I felt like his EX Command Grab did more dmg
You can still tech grabs on recovery also = /

No but seriously if you could please do me a favor and check if ex iori can still cancel the recovery of his rekkakens by using empty super cancels I would greatly appreciate it. Also Shen far st.c should be a free hd combo if you auto guard most standing normals or certain specials. Did they change something? How does it suck?

I thought they already said they nerfed the empty cancel in the few change list notes that we got.
Shen's far standing C sucks because it has very very very few frames of auto guard. So most of the time it will loose or trade.
