Title: Hello all
Post by: hsriner1984 on March 06, 2013, 06:08:36 AM
First off a lil about myself, I am a life long gamer from the US and snk/kof/garou fanatic. I am a collector of all things KOF and Garou related. Nething further than that we can hash out later on :)

I am hoping to meet some like minded gamers and collectors here and maybe expand my KOF collection in the process lol

Welcome hsriner, nice to have you here. As a collector, do you get into the old AES Neo-Geo games and system?

currently I am collection everything other than AES/MVS and NGCD, I think Im down to only a hand full of JP PS2 games and whats on the GBA and XBOX. Also looking for a few different PS2 Neostick variants, Orochi and Mai specifically.

HOWEVER, I am in the market for AES and NGCD stuff tho, I just dont currently own ne. Im looking for a JP AES and NGCD

Good luck with collecting a lot of that; the pricing is really incredible for some of those rarer AES titles. The Neo-Geo X Gold might be a good system to look into, especially if you feel like playing the classics while preserving the AES titles you get.

Ive got the ngx already and will support it with its near future releases. Its a great handheld tbh, as a consolized handheld, ehhh leaves a few things to be desired. The upscaling is off but im hoping this new firmware update will fix the scaling issues. Ive heard that running it composite out to a component upscaler and running it at 720 gets rid of it and looks better than the HDMI out

Does look pretty cool next to an actual AES as well, sorta like a mini me :). Ive been taking a few pix of my collection of late, here is a group shot:

Still have a few bits in transit atm but this is the majority of it
