Live Results as they happen guys: Hummer so far is worth every single penny. He is as good as advertised on GGPO he is flashy and very exciting to watch. Kula arrives today so we did two personal matches:
Bart vs. Hummer Money Match ft15:
Bart wins 15-11.
Lalo vs. Hummer ft10:
Lalo wins 10-7.
Much more to come today, we do the official GGPO Challenge today, Zeus vs. Hummer, Esteban vs. Hummer, Luis Cha vs. Hummer, Skato vs. Hummer, KULA vs Hummer, Alexis vs. Hummer, Andres vs. Hummer all today. Hummer is quite a person to watch, and he tells us Tatsuya is the #1 2002 player in Japan right now. Hummer says he currently is ranked #10 to #12 in Japan in 2002 and believe us it shows!!!!
good shit dg keep them coming!!!
Mexican Victory!
I knew this palette edit would come in handy eventually.
Andrés vs. Hummer ft10:
Andrés wins 10-4.
Now thats a big loss right there
who is Andres? Never heard of him.
I don't know either but GG to him for winning. New results are in but I don't know if its DG job to post them. You guys will be surprise. ;)
PureYeti, are you there? Or are you getting updates from Dark Geese as it goes along?
I got the results from cyberfanatix
All I'm gonna say is oh my god Luis Cha must of been practicing.
Hummer is playing on a Japanese stick we had just for him, he is playing side by side but Hummer says (he is here with me now as I type this and I am corroborating with him as I type this so he agrees with everything I said) that he did not lose because of the stick, he feels the stick was good, he feels he lost because Andres, Bart, Kula, Lalo, Luis Cha are strong.
What happened today:
Andres vs. Hummer: Andres 10-4 over Hummer
GGPO Challenge:
Bart vs. Hummer Rematch: Bart 10-7 over Hummer
Luis Cha vs. Hummer Rematch: Luis Cha 10-0 over Hummer
**Kula vs. Hummer: Kula 10-0 over Hummer**
Hummer vs. Severo: Hummer wins 10-4 over Severo
I made sure to get everything recorded I believe someone may have taken the first camera I have so I have the second one with all this footage which I feel were better than Fridays. Bart Hummer was much much closer this time very very good close matches.
Due to the fact that Luis Cha, Bart and Kula won vs. Hummer they won the GGPO Challenge. These matches today will be named just that.
So the matches you see right now plus the North vs. South footage and Kula vs. Skato (Kula won 15-6) Zeus vs. Andres, and Kula vs. Zeus.
I have on film Hummer says "He cannot Beat Kula on camera." He says Kula is on the same level as the current #1 player in 2002 in Japan- Tatsuya.
We are very interested in seeing Kula vs. Tatsuya in the future, Hummer thinks they are evenly matched.
He also says he thinks Kula is better than amuro from Taiwan, he thinks Tatsuya would beat Luis Cha, but between Tatsuya and Kula it's TOSS UP!!!
He also says there is only one May Lee 2002 user in Japan and 2 Angel users he is amazed at how many people in Mexico know how to fight Angel and May Lee/know of them.
He is very excited to see Kula go to Japan to play KOF 2002.
Did No.17 stop by to watch this event?

No he is in California, I have him ready if I need him to translate for Hummer, but Hummer speaks very good English, so no need. He (No. 17) is supposed to be playing in California with Oscar this coming weekend or something he told me.

Hummer wants to play so he is going to play on a Mexican stick to savetime from changing to Japanese stick al the time. Remember this is all for fun so that is how it is going to be!
North vs. South Update: Ft40- currently 13-5 South

And here is the first video:
GGPO Challenge:
Hummer (Fukuoka, JPN) vs. Bart (D.F., MEX) Part I:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6Jepk3BQzg
Post up the vid how you beat Kula 10-0 in SvC: Chaos ;)
Oh I will..and Kula has told me on email today that he has gotten hell from everyone about that LOL, but he told them that I am a monster in SvC Chaos, and so since Kula is going to be an employee of LDA Inc, I am probably going to Puebla, Mexico in 2-3 weeks to train him to work, and he says there will be about 15 people in Puebla waiting to play me in SvC Chaos since I beat him, I beat Bart like 10-0, I beat Andres like 10-0/10-1 at least 4-5 times and I have all of this on film.
So this is what I will do:
Finish uploading the GGPO Challenge.
then, I will do the special requests:
1. Hummer vs. Alexis in 2002
2. Me vs. Kula in SvC Chaos...
Then I will continue with everything else!!!
As much as I want to see the 2k2 stuff since we know that game is super legendary in Mexico, I'm more curious to see the 2k2UM results if they played that game. The reason why is because since we know Mexico just loves OG2k2, I would like to see how Hummer fared in the game(I've read that he plays that more often than 2k2 since it dropped) that a lot of people consider the standard version of KOF2k2 in tournaments these days.

Hummer says he wasn't strong in 2k2UM at all, hes only been playing the game for 3 weeks.
Is that so? Geez! You'd expect the people who follow videogame players religiously like they do would be competent enough to post some info that is true.

No Hummer told me he has only trained in 2k2UM for like 3 weeks. He also says he barely plays KOFXI, I watched him in practice mode with KGO, he's efficient with them!
Hummer's just waiting to see how the 2k2um will evolve. I still think Vanessa's max cancel combo is there in 2k2um just very strict now (maybe combo vid material now).
Next match:

3rd match out of 4 of the GGPO Challenge between Hummer (Fukuoka, JPN) and Bart (D.F., MEX):

If you don't mind me making a suggestion, could you upload them at 720 instead? I've viewed the last two parts in both 1080 and 720 and I could hardly notice a difference. Unless someone else is getting far different results than I am. but if not it's cool, since I have enough patience to wait until it is loaded.

I an try but I upload it at 1080 because some people may notice a difference depending, I just want the videos to be the best quality they can possibly be.
Final of the GGPO Challenge between Hummer and Bart:

Well I guess it must be these projector screen only matches then. On my Macbook, I see no glaring differences in either but when I do watch direct capture gaming videos, there is clearly a difference. Thanks for part four of the match. It seems like Hummer really turned it on after that OCV by Bart at the start of round 3.

Next is Hummer vs. Luis Cha Part II of the GGPO Challenge!!!!
Here is the first part of the GGPO Challenge between Hummer vs. Luis Cha:
Hummer (Fukuoka, JPN) vs. Luis Cha (D.F., MEX) Part I of II:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRlemOnCLYE
The purpose of the GGPO Challenge: If according to online "scholars" such as Emil, Necromonicron, and other people oblivious to the differences between online and offline play and Mexican skill level offline, if the Japanese were truly better than the Mexicans in 2002 based off Hummer-Blowback doll vs. Osmani-NUTS online videos, then you should be able to see it with Hummer facing Bart, Luis Cha and Kula, who are from the South some of Mexico's ELITE PLAYERS.

Next is yours truly, and I think Kula is really trying to send people a message with how he plays Hummer, it's as if he's playing Hummer with a vengeance or something, and remember Kula gets to play Hummer twice..Luis Cha just once.
Here is the first part of Hummer vs. Kula, the last GGPO Challenge:

I feel that I'm starting the root more for Hummer because he seems like hes the underdog in these battles! But he is holding is own very well.

I know it's hard to hear stuff because of the arcades so check the commentary I have posted up a little bit of what is being said.
A long documentary with a lot of stuff going on yes it's hard to hear because of the background noise and the fact that I lost my voice so just check the commentary for more info:

You are welcome, Skato vs. Kula Part I was almost finished then my internet crashed so that's gonna be up later tonight as the file size is 1.24 GiGs....xD
Wouldn't it be more organized to just edit your posts DG instead of posting 7-8 times in a row? It just helps keep the forum nice and tidy. =) EDIT: Forgot the smiley =)

I thought about that, I normally just post one playlist but since it is going to take about a month until I finish uploading everything I figured there had to be a better way of doing such a thing.
So from this point forward, I will upload all material basically to The KOF Cup 2011 playlist (as I originally wanted to do), and then just post the playlist whenever I finish.
I hope some of you are subscribed to my youtube channel, because that will certainly take a long time. If you see me post a single video it will be in the Revolution 2011: When Worlds Collide thread because there are some videos in this tournament that reference what is going on at that particular tournament.
Hey dark how you been good to see your still doing your thing ;) And keep spoiling us lol

What program do you use to edit the videos? I notice you have a Mac so I'm assuming it's iMovie or one of the Final Cut programs.

Imovie, Roxio Creator Plus 2011 and Windows Live Movie Maker 2011.
Here is a pertinent video talking about this tournament and other stuff:

You all will see the complete playlist for the tournament within 2 weeks I assure you...
damn how many more videos do you have to go?

Quite few, but the problem was my internet was not as fast as it should have been, which may have been solved this morning as it is about 7x faster than it usually is with the technician upgrading everything to the maximum capacity.
So we will see tonight..I have probably a good 20-30 videos to upload before everything is finished.
Update: For those wondering, I have just finished uploading all of the videos from the tournament. All that is left before making my playlist is to do the Official SlideShow and then do a wrap up video and then I'm seriously taking a nice long break (needed) because this has been 6 months of planning, 6 weeks of actual editing and uploading, and now I'm ready to relax!!!!
Here is the complete playlist from The KOF Cup 2011:
