I heard a rumor -unsure of it's validity- that around mid-2000 that SNKP were going to create hentai. No idea if it would feature KOF characters though...

My reaction to this now is the same as it was back in 2007. Strictly, "Eh."
It comes as no surprise to me that such a game exists, and I can't say I care about it beyond that. It's just there.

Why do gamers even act surprised anymore from bizarre games that come out of Japan? I still think it's funny that everyone acts the way they do when the newest dating sim is shown to the masses.

Is not that I'm surprised by something out of Japan (believe me, nothing surprises me anymore from them), but rather, that it came from this company in specific. See, I didn't think they were capable of doing something like this...

That's fair and understandable. No one in 2011 should be surprised that such games that get developed in Japan.
Particularly not a game that probably wouldn't have seen any mainstream coverage (I use "mainstream" loosely) at all in other territories unless shitty gaming blogs like Kotaku had posted some articles about it back then.

With that said, lets just be glad we get KOFXIII and just pretend this "game" doesn't exist.

I'm not really bothered by them having made these loli games, I just think it's funny. I think it's a little hypocritical to criticize SNK for pandering to the lowest common denominator, and yet Capcom is sure to include a nice and tight closeup on Cammy's Ass during her winpose.
Just saying. Not calling anyone in particular out.
