Title: If Southtown had their own sports teams...
Post by: solidshark on April 17, 2012, 08:37:55 AM
Messed around with with this idea with Saitsu, and might as well see how far it can go.

Every KOF character (playable or featured) playing a sport or have some involvement with it. The USA Sports team is obvious, but some ideas that were mentioned were in which ever sport, Athena does the half-time show, Robert owns the stadium(s), Heidern can coach...whatever.

Pick a character and sport/position, name a team, etc.

Forgot that was Terry's sport, good going Proto.

Somehow I imagine most of the medium-size build guys like Robert, Andy, Kyo, Billy, etc doing the baseball team.

Raiden, Ralf, Clark, Daimon, etc for football. Can't think of any good names for either though.

I could see Kyo and Andy playing baseball, but to me Billy seems a bit more suited for soccer. And don't forget that wrestling is a sport, so that already covers Raiden and Tizoc.

Was really silly of me to forget Brian, but then again placing him is too obvious. Maybe the football team should be called the Southtown Battlers.

Oh, also, Joe has to be a baseball player on the Southtown Screwballs. I think the batter and, cacther, and ump would have to move if he throws a screw straight.

but to me Billy seems a bit more suited for soccer. And don't forget that wrestling is a sport, so that already covers Raiden and Tizoc.

Billy could play football (soccer) pretty well probably, as could Kim, but I had Billy's CD in mind for baseball. It can be flexible with who goes where.  Raiden and Tizoc would make a kick-ass wresting tag-team together though (like King and Marduk actually).

I know there are better team names to consider too, so keep 'em coming.

To add to the insanity, Southtown should have a soccer team too, the Kickaholics (I dare you to come up with a better name, because I know you can)

Team captain is of course Kim "even my punches are kicks" Kaphwan, along with May Lee, Chae Lim, Jhun Hoon, Jae Hoon, Dong Hwan, etc.

Kim would have to persuade Chang not to go for football, or Choi for midget wrestling.

And for every sport, Bao can be the ball.

I agree with this wholeheartedly.

Fine, add K' and Yashiro to the Southtown Wolves.

And Shermie is also on the cheerleader squad, vying for Mai's captain position.

Thought he'd be more of a Rugby player, being Aussie and all.

I don't know why, but I think Mature and Vice should be the announcers.
