Hello guys,
We'll be conducting a written interview with the KoFXIII players of Cafe ID!! We want to give you all the chance to submit your own questions. Please keep your questions relevant and appropriate. I will submit these questions to Cafe ID | Koogle, who has graciously offered to translate all of their answers for us into English.
So far, I'm planning on asking them questions about the histories of all their players and of Cafe ID itself. If you have any specific questions, feel free to just post them in this thread and most likely they will be included in this interview. The deadline to submit your questions will be Wednesday July 11th (tomorrow) by 10pm Pacific (California) Time.

Oh great, I have a few questions I'd like to ask MadKOF, but I'll just ask this one:
How did you end up with your team of DuoLon/Chin/Kim, and what about these characters do you feel makes this team so strong?

-How do you evaluate the skill level of "our" players after you won Evo 2012?

Ok, I'll bite.
1. How is the scene in Korea?
2. Do you think there are special challenges from being Korean players that Japanese or Western players don't have to deal with?
3.How do you feel about this new found rivalry between Mexico and Korea?
4. What do feel Western players, specifically American players, should do in order to step their game up other than forming a team such as you have?
I may have more later, but I don't want to get greedy.

1) How would you rate the level of international competition at EVO this year for XIII? 2) Do you feel like the international community for KOF has gotten stronger since the release of XIII? -I'm not too sure if this is the first time you guys travel out of Korea but what was the biggest problem when you guys got out here? Was it the time differences? Sleeping schedule being wack? Food & drinks being too expensive etc
I also saw that you guys charge 10 bucks for all day with free drinks & 2 bunk beds with modern day fighting games with sick setup and thought it was sick of you guys having an Console Fighting Game center like an PC Cafe

Everybody is asking stuff about players and their way of playing, so I will be different. =P
1. What is your opinion on KOFXIII balance?
2. Do you feel the game needs some adjustments?
3. What you want to see next for SNKP and/or KOF? A revision or XIV?

Why Duo Lon? Is it preying on the opponent being unfamiliar with the match? He has good overall tools? Etc.

What characters do you feel are being slept on by the playerbase? Do you feel there are any characters with very good tech, but aren't popular picks? Anyone we should watch out for?

How hard was it for the team to face against each other especially the elimination?
How did the team re-evaluate their loss against Team Mexico in case they will face them again in the tournament?

This is a good one too. I assume it just has something to do with being comfortable, then again they did have like, a mini booth next to the table that they hung stuff on IIRC.

Do you guys plan on returning next year for Evo granted KoF is in the lineup?
Did Lacid take his loss to Guts pretty hard when they played on the big stage?
Are you guys planning on bringing more shirts next year? I heard there weren't many and I actually wanted one after saturday night.
Here's hoping they do come back next year. I want my rematch against Kensouzzhang and some actual time playing against the other Cafe Id members.

I'm proud of Mad Kof and Cafe Id for making a good effort at EVO this year.
These questions is mainly for Cafe Id as a whole.
- Will there be anymore videos from Cafe Id posted up?
- In the KOF community in Korea, do they have a ranking of the players? If so, who would be one of the top players?
- How often do they go to their place Cafe Id like the one on their website?
- Do all members have a Facebook or Fan Facebook to add them on?
- How long has the members known each other and how long has each other played KOF together?
- Was KOF XIII some of the members first time or first year in fighters this year?
- Is there any other fighting games they play besides KOF XIII?

P.S. - My girlfriend thinks Lacid has a cute baby face and she wants to see him more. She thought it was cute when he gave people hand shakes and hugs and he was like a teddy bear. Such a nice and good heart guy she says. She felt bad when he got eliminated.
What does Lacid mean? There was a name he had by kmg5662, then it was changed to Lacid5661.
Also, we would like to order Cafe Id shirts also with your names on them.

- How often do you guys play and practice together? How many hours in one session, how many days a week etc.
- How often do you guys practice alone in training mode? Do all of you play online with MadKOF?
- What do you do to not get nervous while playing in intense matches?

do you guys do anything special while meeting/practicing together other than just playing? for example; going over character matchups in training mode, finding new strategies/tech, critiquing teammate's weaknesses, etc.
what's your strategy on meter usage? when do you decide to use meter even if it may not be the most efficient combo (meter to damage ratio)?
what do they think are the hidden strengths of the american low tiers, athena, leona, mai?

Kim: 5 votes
Mr Karate, Shen, King, Ex Iori: 4 votes
Yuri: 3 votes
Chin, Vice, Saiki, Billy: 2 votes
Benimaru, Duo Lon, Mature: 1 vote each
Curiously Hwa and Claw was nowhere to be seen and Beni only had one vote.

Interesting choices, and once again a matter of style. I love how lots of player's top 5 are different a lot.
Good interview too. Nice to hear places like Cafeid are still being ran somewhere in the world. Hopefully that will be where the KOF XIII love in Korea will spread. Also glad that they could deal with the cultural differences (Mexican chanting); if they can get sponsored and come back next year, hope they come with their own chants. KOF making foreign relations.
