Title: Washington D.C. (2013-2014)

It's quite early to ask but next year I might do a one year study trip to the university of maryland (this one (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Maryland,_College_Park)) but before planning this eventual trip I'd like to know if there is a local scene for kofXIII there?

The university is just outside of Washington thus I might be able to move to the city by car (If I have enough $ to buy one >_>).

I'm actually about to be stationed near DC in the near future, so I was wondering if there was a scene here as well.
