With all the recent news surrounding this game, I felt it was appropriate to make a thread for this game.
I myself didn't get into this game until recently, when I found out about its crossover with KOF. Now I'm willing to pay more attention to this game.
Hopefully, I'll be able to play it someday. :)

How to sign-up and play XDZW
Things needed:
QQ Account
Beta Key
Chinese ID
Chinese Name
1. Make a QQ account by going here: http://zc.qq.com/en/ (http://zc.qq.com/en/)
You can put your regular information. An email address will be needed to sign up. After finishing signups and email verification, you'll get your QQ number. Make sure that you remember your QQ number and password.
2. Get beta key(s) and activate it: Either get them from an outside source or buy them from this site: http://www.yoybuy.com/en/Show/16525568484 (http://www.yoybuy.com/en/Show/16525568484) There's is a 5.53 service for buying something from this site, so the price for beta key(s) is $0.16(x)+$5.53. It'll take a few days for the beta key(s) to arrive and the beta key(s) will only be sent to you through the actually site. Just copy both generated information to their corresponding boxes. If a red exclamation point in a yellow box pops up on the right of the second box, then go back to step 4 and get a new generated Chinese ID. The third row of boxes can be left blank. Save the info by clicking on one of the blue boxes under the third row of white boxes. I think it's the left one and that should be everything.
6. Now when you log in at the XDZW log-in screen and this pop-ups: http://gyazo.com/0684ac197c36cea98855e16749941d91 (http://gyazo.com/0684ac197c36cea98855e16749941d91) close the game and wait a few hours to log back on. That screen should not pop up again.

So, I'm maining Yan. I also am pretty confused about the licensing of new character (I bought Ray and the Yun looking guy).
Also, maybe figuring out the missions would be great. Seems like an easy source of point coupons that's not tapped into :-D

I don't know about you guys' experience with the servers, but atm, Core server is leagues better than the XD server when it comes to the online and the players. Too bad I can't transfer the two extra characters I brought on XD to Core. Oh well, I will spend a lot more time playing on the Core server now.

When buying a character, you can either rent them for 30 days (1900 to 2900 for most characters, i think.)or buy them permanently for more money. (around 7900 to 9900 for most characters, 5900 for two characters at the moment.)

Watch out for the Ameth army in Core's Rank Matches. Nearly all of the players (like 10+!!), that I went against, play her the same. Run around the screen like a lunatic. Use 1-hit block string to projectile. Run up and roll, then grab, kick you in corner. Never use cr. B for some reason. It was like I was fighting the same person through the day. lol Good way for people to try out Ameth match-ups.

I saw a combo video not long ago and Ameth had an infinite going on, curious to whether that is still a thing or if it was fixed.

Yes to both, It'd make this easier that way.
As for date and time, would Saturday at 1:00 PM PST, 2:00 PM MT, 3:00 PM CST, or 4:00 PM EST work in the weeks where there is no KOF XIII Tournament?

Regulars grabs are ass in this game. I hate how my grab whiff on opponents walking up from a jump in. It's seems like the best idea to stop such nonsense is to just A punch or light anti-air out of the air. At least trip anti-airs are strong.

Has anyone watched the video I posted? It's about Benimaru's "inclusion" into the game. I think this is a pretty huge development for the game (and for some reason, it makes me anxious about SNK).

A game that played like KOF... You know since it had the help of two great 98 players in development...
There's no reason for an empty jump into walk-in have invincibility to regular throws. period.
Also, the Benimaru/ Sheva video is old. It was made when Sheva came out to jokily compared the two characters and show how Tencent really did not care about any copyrights.

And besides, I guess they didn't want to be exactly like KOF... though they even screwed that up, since KOF 12 had two-button throws =P
I didn't know that video was old. I figured Tencent wouldn't give a shit about copyright, especially since they are making a KOF ripoff game. But it seems to me SNK doesn't care either... and that's just sad.

For some reason today when I played all my connections have been terrible, yesterday they were all godlike - I don't know if theres specific ports that need forwarding for this game but if anyone has a way to figure that out would be awesome!
Also I also wish this game had 1 button throws, 2 button is really awkward with rolls

Can someone clarify this process.
I go to purchase the beta key and it requires funds in the account. I go to add funds and there's a 3.5% handling fee. Is that the 5.53 service that's being referred or is this something else? I just want to add exact funds to purchase the beta key.
