Title: The Latin American Cup 2011: PERU GRAND CHAMPIONS!
Post by: Dark Geese on May 17, 2011, 06:01:11 PM
The Latin American Cup 2011!

Updates:

EDIT: I will have all matches or some Monday as Luis Cha plays all the tops today.

Friday, August 5th, 2011:

Luis Cha said the Peruvians are very very strong!!! He said they are POSSIBLY BETTER THAN ANDRES AND BART! UH OH!!! SEE EVERYONE, THIS IS WHY I'M DOING THIS...AGAIN YOU DON'T KNOW UNTIL IT HAPPENS.. (No more "derailing/ranting" or whatever guys....)

Luis Cha recorded some casuals, he will get them to me tomorrow for me to edit and upload...

Saturday August 6, 2011:

Luis Cha (MEX) vs. AngelStronG (PER) Money Match:

Luis Cha 20, AngelStronG 16.

Luis Cha (MEX) vs. Terruco (PER): Luis Cha wins.

Luis Cha (MEX) vs. Takuma (PER): Luis Cha wins.

Sunday August 7, 2011:

Luis Cha (MEX) vs. Walter (PER): Walter wins 25-20.

Luis Cha (MEX) vs. Joker (PER):

Joker wins 30-7!!!!!!!!!!

Luis Cha (MEX) vs. Lopez (PER): Lopez wins 20-16!

So the score so far: every personal win vs. the Peruvian Tops=1 for that country.

Mexico-
Peru-2
Brazil-

The 4v4 will count for 10 points for the winning country

The tournament will count for 5 points for the winner, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd.

Update:

This tournament is happening the 2nd week of August (the actual tournament on the weekend, the matches for the whole week), more than likely with the change of things I will not be present but I will make sure everything is going according to plan and being recorded!

Confirmed representatives for Mexico:

1. Kula
2. Zeus
3. Bart
4. Andres
5. Luis Cha

All of them will be there for an entire week, so again you all will see probably 5x the amount of footage you saw from The KOF Cup 2011 on my youtube channel because they will be playing that entire week! Kensou is also from what I hear confirmed (someone else is buying his ticket) but I am going to hold out on that until I hear he is actually there.

You will see a Team Mexico vs. Team Peru International exhibition (if they want to include Brazil's #1 etc) many personal matches as well as the tournament itself! This is basically one month away!

There will be some sort of stream right?

Guys remember-

Not everyone has access to these types of things being streams. If we can stream it we will, but anticipate more than likely that they will not have the necessary material and equipment to stream..

Update: Everything begins the 8th of August, but the pre-game festivities will begin the 5TH of August. I will send Luis Cha to Peru the 5th of August and we will get things setup for this week long event!!! So Starting the 5th of August, Luis Cha will be sending me everything per my request for this monster event so I can download it, edit it, and then upload it to youtube! I will get on average 10 videos a day (starting the 5th of August) to me until the event is over the 15th, and then afterwards I will have to wait until my external hard drive and camera is sent back to me for the rest.

I am making a video updating everyone about this now as this will be a monster event!!!!! In regards to a live stream, this is another reason I have agreed to send Luis Cha the 5th so we can see if this is possible!!! I will more than likely not be able to go..

** I HEAR Peru has a KOF13 Arcade, we will also do a Mexico vs. Peru 2011 Arcade tournament!!!**

So main events:

KOF 2002
KOF13

KOFXI, 2000, 98UM, 2002UM casual matches,

KOF 2002 Personal Matches!

So in the end Mexico vs. Peru 2011 Matches will be monstrous, we are talking TEN DAYS of MATCHES!

Guys we have decided it is in the best interests of the Peruvian organizers NOT to have a live stream. Now before you go haywire let me explain the situation:

They have the capability to live stream and they can I know that NOW after talking to AngelStronG. The problem is that the Peruvian KOF community wants everything for free, so if they stream the event they won't make any money off the event themselves that is going to be used to give hospitality, food, etc for the Mexican players staying there for a week.

So with that said for this time for sure it is in THEIR AND OUR best interests to NOT stream the event live this time..sorry guys going to announce this on youtube so that everyone knows and does not ask me questions about the Live Stream this time..maybe next time things will work out better and I can setup the food and stay ordeal for the Mexican players better so that we can live stream..

DG, just for curiosity, what brand of arcade parts and button layout are mostly used in Mexico and Peru?

I've heard what mexicans use the Official Neo Geo Layout and use Happ parts (or generic one):

sorry if I'm bothering you

Okay everyone, update, just decided to change the name and make another poster witht he name change and a slightly different design because I have discovered Peru is the #1 country in South America in KOF 2002, with Brazil being #2, so I had no idea the magnitude of this event until I heard that!

The new name is now: The Latin American Cup 2011!!!
Title: Re: The Latin American Cup 2011
Post by: Dark Geese on August 02, 2011, 05:26:50 PM
As THE PREMIER ORGANIZER OF THIS EVENT, I am adding the following:

In lieu of not only recent events at EVO, but what I experienced myself at The KOF Cup 2011 with the "Skato situation", I am making it mandatory that the following rules be placed in:

1. If there are any problems with the sticks they must contact Luis Cha or AngelStronG IMMEDIATELY..within the first 2 minutes of the match or it will not be honored (if these are serious matches i.e. tournament play etc).

2. If the person does respond within the  2 minute timeframe about stick/button problems or whatever, the choice I tell Luis Cha/AngelStronG after knowing all the facts WILL OVERRULE WHATEVER DECISION MADE by both players. So that means if say Kula and Javier are playing and Kula decides to replay the match giving Javier another shot, I alone will make the decision what will happen in the end....whether that be them playing again or awarding the match to the person that was winning...

I have spoken with Kula and he agrees that this is a shame that this had to happen the way it did and he agrees with the changes 100%.

I've modified the rule again after talking to Khannibal last night and this rule will stick to all of my tournaments:

1. You have until either two minutes OR the end of the first round of the match to call a stick not working..or it will not be honored..

Re-posting from the same event thread en español:

I saw right now a post from Toshi in "Venon Arcade" community in Orkut. And the results from a 150 soles money match against Joker (known as "Peruano" by brazilian players) was:

Toshi 40 x 24 Joker

But I saw Joker's post, saying "giving up the tournament by familiar reasons". As I don't know Joker, I treat as "rumor"

If Joker really gives up the tournament, who will play in his place?

Edit: I saw another Joker's post saying Zeus gave up due to documentation issues. Is that true, DG?

Another mexican sugestion?

Mexico Team: Kula, Bart, Andrés, Luis Cha and ??? (should be Zeus)
Brazil-Peru Team: Sabãozinho, Kabecinha, Toshi, Javier and ??? (should be Joker)

As I don't know the OG'02 peruvian tops, any sugestion of other tops, DG?

And as addition info: Renatinho, from Brazil is already in Peru.
Title: Re: The Latin American Cup 2011

Brazil-Peru Team has Joker in it. (But well he may get left out because now Zeus cannot make it due to a mistake of him own.)

Mexico Team no longer has Zeus because he cannot make it as he could not get his passport. He has accepted responsibility for his own actions as this is something I have told him for 4 months now.

I would still like a 4v4 so I guess that would make it:

BP team: Sabaozinho, Kabeczinha, Toshi, Javier
Mexico Team: Kula, Bart, Andres, Luis Cha

Luis Cha will be in Peru tomorrow evening telling me everything so the whole 10-12 days plus of documentation BEGINS TOMORROW guys......

So stay very much tuned....

No replacements for Zeus right now it's too late to scramble for someone right now, too late for even me to go I don't like to operate like this. They will have to live and learn and learn next time when I say get something done early, you'd better get it done early...

So it will just be those 4, no replacements...maybe next time...which I think the next Latin American Cup will be bigger than this one as we are just scratching the surface this time..

Sure, the time is now, I think people will learn I mean business and I don't play around when it gets close to time, people have to be ready to go, I don't change my plans mid-stream like that.

I will make sure we get personal matches against Renatinho from Brazil as well vs. Mexico.

Im still making sure Luis Cha got to Peru on time..haven't heard anything he probably hasn't been able to connect because I told him let me know whenever he touches down as soon as he lands, that's the only reason I'm really online right now lol.

Check all the updates from the tournament on the first page everyday for updates...

EDIT: I've made a video section on the first page as well..keep checking that for videos as I have one telling about what Luis Cha has said..

Thank you, I have added a Video section right now also guys. Luis Cha has told me he will get me the videos after today because today he has "worked himself up the ladder" so to speak playing "non top players".

So today he will play Joker and whoever else will play him, but there may be some according to him that won't because they want to wait until Wednesday.

This should be very interesting again as Luis Cha says Javier is the same level if not a little stronger than Kula.

As far as counting the results for this whole thing, every individual country will get one point per personal match victory if it's only against the TOPS..

So the result of Luis Cha vs. Joker will go towards either Mexico or Peru...

As soon as I can I will trust me....

Edit: To reflect the Peruvian system of Judgment since this is in Lima, Peru, I am changing the Calculation system to be the following:

Personal Matches:

5 points per TOP vs. TOP only to winning country: ex Luis Cha vs. Joker, 5 points to Luis Cha

Mexico vs. Peru 4v4: 20 points to the winning country

Official Tournament: 10 points to the winning country, 7 to 2nd place, 5 to 3rd, 3 to 4th, 2 to 5th.

Omg! There is a video of this matches on the web?

Some but I may not know where they are (on some random channel in Peru possibly). Luis Cha has said the internet is very very slow in Peru so in regards to the matches we must wait until he sends it to me rapidly upon returning to Mexico. Meanwhile I will receive tonight from Kula probably 50+ matches of him playing vs. Bart and Andrés getting ready for the tournament so I will have a bit to keep you all waiting...

Judging from everything as I've discussed and been predicting, this is sending a shockwave around the world and reviving many retired players such as Osmani in Mexico.

This is basically going to become the Latin American SBO as next year we are talking:

Argetina vs. Brazil vs. Chile vs. Mexico vs. Peru and adding the following games:

-KOF 2002 UM
-KOF 98
-KOF 98UM
-KOF 13
-KOFXI

People like Abraham are excited and saying they are going to Peru next year, this is taking a life of it's own!

Luis Cha did defeat the Renatinho guy from Brazil in casuals, but they are going to play again probably in the next few days.

Well, so much for the Mexicans retiring OG2k2 after this event. If anything, the game will continue to live past this event and become an even bigger game in the country if they end up going home big time losers against the other Latin countries.

Such a shame the majority of the FGC here in the USA only thinks that MvC2 is the only game that has had a 10 year life span.

From what I've heard it's already getting bigger but I pretty much anticipated that...again this just pushes things towards the eventual World KOF Cup...

And now I can just drop the newer games in there and of course they will listen..as will the rest of the world...Javier says if he wins HE WANTS TO GO TO JAPAN...

In regards to MVC2, ignorance shows itself in many different forms, some people in their lives will realize this, others will not.

Well, I hope that some of those players take 2k2UM a hell of a lot more seriously. Cause if they do go to Japan, they will realize that the country has moved to 2k2UM and that trying to weed out the top players in OG2k2 may be a bit hard. Unless of course you are still keeping tabs with Hummer and you can ask him to set up matches with whoever is considered the tops in OG2k2 over there.

Yes I am keeping tabs with Hummer....and I have told them many times about 2002 UM in relation to the Asian part of the world and many of them have begun preparing for this diligently, so we will see what happens in the future.

Plus Hummer etc has told me if the Mexicans come to Japan, they will train extensively in 2002 again in preparation for the Mexican visit.

Score is Peru 10, Mexico 0.

Javier (PER) vs. Luis Cha (MEX):

Javier 20, Luis Cha 7.

Javier defeated Luis Cha 20-7, thus another 5 points for Peru. They will all (The Tops certainly) play Wednesday... again

I hope XIII can be included in next LAC but will depend so much of the communities of these countries. At least, Mexico already mastered XIII in general (in my opinion).

I wouldn't say Mexico has mastered KOF13 per se, but I am working this year behind the scenes to tie together other communities so we will see what becomes of that. One thing I know for a certainty, above anything else I do not care who wants to go to this tournament, I will stand my ground and be present at the next one.

I also believe despite what level countries will be at, bottom line will be that there will be so much National Pride on the line that whatever the results are will force the other countries to look in the mirror at one another, which will cause them to get stronger (and that is the goal).

Yeah since Kula has about 40 videos of him and Bart playing to give me plus the 300 videos (at least 300 it's going to seem), plus the fact that I will have new Geese Tower matches coming, my youtube channel is seriously going to explode.

On top of this, I bet money by the time KOF13 comes out on consoles I will either be still working on the videos or JUST FINISHING HAHAHAHA..

xD

I'm always planning something bigger and badder. Be that trips to Cambodia, Korea, Japan, etc or what have you to discover more hidden talent!!!!!

Joker told me via orkut due to other mexicans arrive tonight in Peru, tomorrow starts the other duels of Peru vs. Mexico:

Joker vs Andrés
Toshi vs Kula

My thoughts about these matchups:

Joker vs Andrés: Peruano will not get an easy match against Andrés, but the peruvian player can win this match.

Toshi x Kula: is hard to say who can win. Kula is the best playe of Mexico and Toshi is very talentous, even is young. Favouritism x Talent: The HYPEST match of the day. Even with difficulties and nervosism, Toshi can win Kula.

Yes I will upload them to my youtube channel some people have uploaded matches (much to my dismay) already but hey what can I do? People are gonna do that anyway comes with the territory of an event of this magnitude I guess I just gotta make sure that my official videos blow everyone else's "pirated cellphone copies" out of the water.

I dont want my videos posted on Cx by anyway shape or fashion though, be it from my channel, illegally or what have you.

These videos are property of LDA Inc.

Just thought I'd let everyone know that.

EDIT:

I have been informed that everyone decided to start officially counting the points yesterday with Andrés vs. Joker, which means..

MEXICO 10, PERU 5...

I am very happy and proud of the results with the Mexico team. I am extremely happy that Kula beat Javier who was consider #1. Don't really care about his match against Joker since Bart beat Joker.

Man next year at EVO 2012 the most anticipated match will be BALA vs Kula in KOF XIII without a doubt!!!! I already have people asking me about this!!!!! lol!!!!! it's going to be insane!!!! but lets not get ahead of our selves, lets finish the Latin American Cup.

Good luck with the event Dark Geese. ;)

I have been aware of your efforts to suport KOF for a while keep up the excelent work you are doing. :)

I am not a fan of 2002 OG because here in Portugal we only played KOF 98, but i like KOF 2002 UM.

I  try to make the new generation of players to play KOF here in my country but its hard they only want to play Capcom games maybe that will change when KOF XIII comes out on consoles.

In the past there was alot of kof players but now they only play in GGPO and the rest desapeared.

Well Sir the way things are going maybe I can create a European Cup of sorts in that area and promote more people to play different games as I am in Mexico and Latin America!

I have been talking to people from Morocco about going there and that could be a start doing  things for the African Cup!

Thank you for the support appreciate it!  =)

Here is a video I have already made guys alerting people of some of the "things" currently going on right now:

Dark Geese Update 8-13-11: Cx supports Piracy+ Peru Update! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcfurhw8J4o#ws)

The problem here is taking without asking. There are many people that have asked me to record the matches and I say it's fine. =)

But when you take without asking, there is a serious problem! We have agreed only the organizers can record the matches, but again all someone has to do is ASK!!!

Mexico vs. Brazil starts today with:

Kula (MEX) vs. Kabezchina (BRA)

Yes so Mexico vs. Brazil Officially begins today and we will have dual setups with cameras recording both of them so that we can make sure everyone plays KBC and Sabaozinho.....

Also the 4v4 Mexico vs. Peru has been changed to 2v2v2 Mexico vs. Brazil vs. Peru whoever each country chooses to represent themselves first to 40 so that Sabaozinho and KBC can attend..

In progress: Mexico vs. Brazil!

Kbzcinha 29, Andres 23 (FT40).

Mexico 0, Brazil 0.
Title: Re: Re: The Latin American Cup 2011: Andres defeats Kbczinha from Brazil!!!
Post by: Dark Geese on August 15, 2011, 12:48:39 PM
Final Result Andrés 40, Kbzcinha 34.

Mexico 5, Brazil 0!

In another section:

Peru 30, Mexico 25.

Joker defeated Bart 40-36!

We aren't done yet. The plan was made to balance things, Personal matches are in favor of Peruvian System, so we are doing the Team Battle and Tournament in favor of the Mexican style system.

Here is the system for calculating everyting final version:

You may wonder why are we doing personal matches, la corona and the tournament? The personal matches first to 30 etc favor Peruvian style, so to make it fair, we are doing the tournament in Mexican style. The 2v2v2 is something extra for fun of course!! =)

1, Every personal match is worth 5 points

2. First place in the tournament is worth 8 points, 2nd place 7 points, 3rd place 6, points, 4th place 5 points, 5th place 3 points.

3. For The Team Battle, winning Team overall gets 20 points (First to 40). This also gives an opportunity for rematch! Who will Peru choose to represent the 2 players for The Team Battle? Will Mexico choose Kula and Bart?

So this is far from over yet!!!!!!!

How many personal matches are planned for Mexico vs Brazil?  Any for Brazil vs Peru?

Also, can you explain a bit of how the 3-way team tournament will work?  SBO-style or elimination-style, winning team stays on or each team takes turns playing 2 consecutive matches, what happens if one team reaches 40 when the team that didn't play in the last match is at 39 wins, etc.

Kind of sad that the Cup's almost over, but that means you can start sharing some videos soon, so it's not all bad ;) .  Really curious to see what Joker and Toshi have been doing to give the Mexican players such a hard time.

Mexico vs. Brazil:

Andres vs. KBC-Andres won 40, 34.
Kula vs. KBC
Luis Cha vs. KBC
Bart vs. KBC

Andres vs. Sabaozinho
Luis Cha vs. Sabaozinho
Kula vs. Sabaozinho
Bart vs. Sabaonzinho

7 matches left for Mexico vs. Brazil and I am going to put an extraordinary amount of pressure on them to finish everything today I don't care if they have to cut everything to ft15 or 20s. They always say "The people arrive late" well I assure you that won't be an issue next year, I'll be a Nazi Asshole about arriving late, when it starts it starts you're here or your not, I don't care your name.

Get with the program or get another hobby.....

The way the Team Battle works is the later, Winner stays on the stick while alternating with the others, but we are probably going to break it down into Mexico vs. Brazil, Mexico vs. Peru, Brazil vs. Peru,

that way we see individually which team wins and then can determine who wins overall...

So it may be ft20 per sets to expedite time...

Yes this event has exceeded all of my expectations and again I don't see anything else happening this year that's gonna rival it in not only competition but the AMOUNT OF FIGHTS.

SBO and these other tournaments are 2-3 days max, mine is a full week.....of nothing but top level players.

Put a bunch of top players and egos in one room, make them all clash, and not only are some people bound to be humbled, but some are going to win and lose.

Formula for success! For Brazil vs. Peru, if the Brazilians stay one more day, Luis Cha (since he's not leaving till the end of the week) will record Brazil vs. Peru matches...

Thanks for the fast answers, DG!  Would be cool if the Brazilians can stay to play personal sets against the Peruvians, though I guess at worst, there'll be a lot of footage of them from the team tournament.  No disrespect to the Mexican players, of course...just want to see as many matches between different players as I can *laughs*

I wish more organizers would have this attitude.  It's frustrating to show up for tournaments on time, only to have to wait another 2-3 (or more) hours to start things because some big name didn't want to wake up before noon or something.

Check this out, everyone is telling me Sabaozinho did a bug in 2002 that transforms Iori to Orochi Iori, verified by people, this if this is true of course it changes things I will talk to Luis Cha about it, obviously even in 2002, this changes things a lot....Brazilian Bug- Iori Top Tier????? 0-o

Everything may have wrapped up but Luis Cha stays 2 more days to play KOF13 and KOF 2000..as well as get footage of Javier playing 95..

Yes and people are truly saying it's true...Iori transformation to Riot in 2002..now this totally changes things if its true..Iori is automatically top tier..and heaven forbid if he can do it in 2002 UM..*Evil laugh*

Now Luis Cha still has 2 days left in Peru so we are going to investigate this with Sabaozinho and KBC (If he hasn't left) today..

1. It's a glitch that from what I have gathered not even Sabaozinho knows EXACTLY how to do..it seems to work when Iori is vs. Leona (makes sense).

The other Mexican players are on the plane back to Mexico already, so Luis Cha is doing extra stuff today. Another match update that I have that has happened:

Javier (PER) 40, Andrés (MEX) 24.

I'll try, but some of them won't they are Quality Snobs I'm gonna just come out front and say that not gonna try and cookie cutter it or be politically correct about it, they won't put them up unless they are comparable videos to the quality they get all the time..

Which if they choose that I say...that's THEIR LOSS.

But hey I will try!! =)

Right now we are talking next year I am going to change the name to The All Americas Cup 2012- to reflect the whole continent of America.

Yes that's right people they all are afraid you North Americans are going to think it only means the USA.

Nope, this means all of the continent of America.
My facebook right now is it's own forum can you believe that? xD

We are all having a round about discussion about where to have it, sorry but the USA has been ruled out...

We are adding: 2002 UM, 98, 98UM, KOFXI, KOF13, SSF4 AE, MVC3

And again the USA has been ruled out...due to number of players and skill level of players overall (not counting SSF4 AE or MVC3, make no mistake this is a SNK/KOF EVENT!!)

So wait a sec, this game has been out for how long now and a bug was just reported by many that transforms Iori into blood Riot mode? That's.....well, I don't even know what to say to that.

I'm skeptical about this till I see a vid.

Yes Saboazinho did it in a match, the video should be up soon.

Can't wait, I'm surprised that this bug has slipped past everyone internationally for all these years.  Kudos for whoever found it out.

USA should be ruled out as a hosting place just from geography, anyway.  It's sitting way the hell at one end of the continent, with only lonely Canada to keep it company.  An event like this (which already sounds damn awesome, by the way :) ) should be somewhere more central, as long as that doesn't create any new travel issues.

The skepticism ends now for the time being this is proof something can be done it's on my facebook:

*snip*

That's proof SOMETHING CAN BE DONE..
Oh, if it's just one of those freezing glitches, aren't those typically banned in tournaments anyway?

So, now that the LAC is more or less wrapped up, when should I start anxiously checking your youtube for new videos? *laughs*

There is another bug I've heard where Orochi Iori could move actually and this is the one Sabaozinho did..not the one you saw in the video... They say you could hear the Orochi Iori sounds and they actually had to turn off the system and turn it back on...

Omegaryuji- Agreed 100% in regards to that. I may start uploading videos as soon as this Friday since Luis Cha goes back to Mexico City tomorrow..

Luis Cha returns to Mexico City tomorrow we have a plan for him to get me some matches while sending the external HDD to me...

Andrés confirms another match:

Andres (MEX) 20, Sabaozinho (BRA) 8.

Which means the current score for Mexico vs. Brazil is:

Mexico 25, Brazil 5..

I have pretty much decided to host the All-Americas Cup 2012 in Mexico City next year so that can give people plenty time to get their visa in order.

Peru 30, Mexico 25

Doesn't look like a tie to me...and it should actually be 30-20, why the hell would you count a no-show when it comes to determining who is the better country? And since when have you stopped caring about scores? Based on your consistently objective way of measuring skill, especially that does not take into account what actually happens in the matches, MEXICO LOST. They aren't champions, they still need a lot of work. Get that shit out of here. Easy there -Kane317

Emil chill out, you know really well that attitude doesn't fly around here.

I am surprised that you out of all people would acknowledge the results from this event to make a conclusion. I told DG that I am very sorry about the way things turned out, I know he invested a lot of money, time and effort but unfortunately the event didn't a standardize formate to determine a winner. From my point of view the international community can not look at this event, see the way that it was organized and accept this results.

1. The Mexican players declared victory when Kula the #1 ranked player in Mexico defeated the #1 player in Peru Javier who was identified as the #1 player in Peru months before this event took place. This is supposed to be a team event, so this doesn't really mean anything.

2. The Peruvian players declared vitory half way through a round robin event when Joker defeated all the Mexican players. The Peruvian players refused to finish the round robin because there is supposed to be this rule in Peru that if on of the players defeats all of the other players in the other team, he automatically wins the event for his team regardless of the scores. (O_o)

After investigating this further and talking to everyone about everything we've come to the conclusion that this is the ranking for now:

1. Peru
2. Mexico
3. Brazil

The Peruvians said it was a Tie to be nice to the Mexican players because they feel they are very strong. That was the consensus after talking to:

AngelStronG, Joker, Toshi.

I assure you I'm running this Nazi Asshole next time MY word will stand above all others, I'm beyond pissed off and I want everyone to know that because decisions were made without my consent which just pisses me off to no ones end. No internet, no phone communication, I had to wait late till damn near after the event to hear stuff, I'm pissed off beyond anyone's belief that much I can assure you.  So I decided to do my own thorough investigation of what the Mexican players said and I chose not to listen to the words of people that were not at the event and chose to listen to those that were at the event.

But with that said this was the first time that this was done, so I learned a lot about this event and again I promise you I will make sure this doesn't happen again next year in Mexico!

I see I have to be at the event to make sure things happen exactly how I see fit.  I tried to standardize this by giving people a formula to go by but they decided not to follow that formula (See Oscar's post).  It won't happen again, if I can't go to somewhere in another country simply the event isn't happening.

In regards to KOF13 do not know, Luis Cha was there for an hour trying to play people but no one wanted to play him, so like everything else we have to wait and see.

Emil- STFU you rarely post but you choose to post now? (Besides who listens to you anyways lol talk to me when you actually you know DO SOMETHING.

DG, there's no need to make personal attacks/insults like that; I don't think it warranted such a response -Kane317

Besides you yet again are commenting on a situation where you lack all the facts read thoroughly what Oscar posted. Why would you care about what goes on in Latin America anyways??? No Asian country is involved what are you doing here? Lecter told me all you were doing was degrading both countries on MSN anyways so please just go away.)

'

I'll tell you this much, I'm not gonna chill on this one, I'm going to let everyone know when I upload my videos why I am angry, it's not that Peru won, IT'S THE MANNER THEY WON, which was not following the guidelines I set in place.

This is like JuareZ WarZone South American Version basically.

The guidelines are there for a reason as I've clearly stated in the previous post, we can't have all these different areas choosing to run things differently. While I respect cultural differences, we have to make a set standard everyone follows around the world especially if we are talking about crowning a World Champion in the future! I am going to need sometime to chill or get away from this one, I feel as if I could seriously hurt someone right now how angry I am I spent all this money and my regulations were not followed! But again I am not going to bite my tongue, the people that need to hear this will hear it!

LOL emil talking about skill

I say peru are champions because of joker, bart said that although kula and andres lost to joker he believes there's still talent in mexico who can beat him *Zeus,Alexis,Abraham*

I don't think this is the end of all ends, Peru won because of the home advantage with their system just like hummer lost to all the Mexican players I don't think Mexico is better than japan either.

Yeah there is a lot to determine and I tell you this and I mean it, but I feel greatly disrespected because I had four days in Mexico (typically) to run the following schedule:

1. Personal Matches  2. Team Battle  3. Tournament.

But they couldn't do this in 7??? There is no excuse for that whatsoever!! I don't care how bad you are at organizing there is simply no excuse for that ( I honestly believe they could, they just didn't want to!)

So as much as I hate saying this now, Peru may have just lost the chance for a future event due to disregarding my wishes.

Or they may get a future event, just not one of this magnitude..or they may get a South American Qualifier, but right now I'm looking into Brazil for 2013...

So AAC 2012- Mexico
AAC 2013- Brazil

I like how a lot of people who don't know what in the heck is going on shooting their mouths off saying that the Peruvians won the tournament when there was no tournament.

It is like DG said, everybody had 7, count them 7, days to do three things.  1. Personal Matches, 2. Team Battle, 3. Tournament.  This was to properly rank three countries in KOF 2k2.  The Peruvians and their ft40 personal matches ate most of the clock, and not only that, but their special rule on the Round Robin AT BEST made the whole thing an exhibition between three countries.

The thing was to be a dry run on testing a standard method on ranking a country's skill, but if he has to be there to hold everybody's hand and make sure it gets done, then I am not even sure that it is even logistically possible for a World KOF Cup.
