How's her Standing B as a anti air? I was able to knock a opponent out the air but, really see people use her standing B as a anti air.

I noticed the limb did not go out as far as it seems with the animation.  Other than using reflector or psycho sword to AA, seems you just have to block or use meter to roll away.  I noticed that close standing D was a decent anti air if they tried to neutral jump, but that is the only time I could really use it.

Can the recovery on Athena's "Psycho Ball" be compared to Guile's "Sonic Boom"? The recovery seems really fast. Of course I don't even know the recovery of her Psycho Ball lol.

The only one you can compare to that would be her EX psycho ball.  Chasing behind that version can lead to mix ups and making your opponent make a mistake.  You have enough options to force a 50/50 on block or punish them for trying to jump it.

If you want to use more of those options, my opinion is to put her second on your team.

I had to go do this http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Support/LicenseMigration/Home
when I swapped xboxes to play offline.

O yea, forgot about that step.  Do that first and then download your contents back.

I forgot about that fact, I am sorry.

It's because all of my friends and I don't use the xbox we originally had, we pretty much had to recover our gamertags in new xboxes since they broke down. So yeah, we need to be online in order to use some updates... for Blazblue at least this is true.
With AE it actually works for some reason.

All you have to do is go to your download history, re-download the files in your history and you can play all of them offline again.

Buying 360 since that is the console I have an arcade stick for, but PS3 standard should be the one for tournaments.  Works better for arcade stick players and pad players.

Quick question, did they confirm you could change just the two extra slots or all the slots?  I could not really tell from the scan in this thread.

No probs about the info-pry, I'm happy if I can help! Where might you play it again this weekend? I'd love to be able to play again before October, lol.

There is said to be a KoF XIII tourney at a con I will be going to around my area.  This means the game should be there.  Don't know what version it will be though.

Crossups have been tightened a bit VS the arcade version they say; Hwa's jump ;b looked similiar to Mai's, but his back leg seems to have no real hitbox, and if it DID hit on crossup, it worked more often off full jumps than hops. Mai's, however, seemed as abuseable as K' or Betty's were in the arcade version, when used as from a Hop, or full jump. It was nearly 100% reliable during hops, which made the other characters I played feel pretty poor, in comparision.

Interesting.  So you feel the hop ;b is more abuse-able and a bigger, heftier hit box than it was in the arcade version?  Sorry to keep prying for information, but I didn't get to play the game more than a handful of times and want to learn more since I might get to play it again this weekend.

Her Air throw also seemed suprisingly great. It was stuffing so much, even anti-air attempts at the right angle. I wonder if that means it had a range buff or something?

Just curious, was it stuffing a lot of moves doing the throw early or later after they were almost at the ground?  And did it feel like a decent air to air option to you as well?

So much news for the day I don't check up on the game.  A lot of the changes made me happy and want the game even sooner now, too many to list.  Have they given a time line for announcing DLC characters yet?

And the color edit mode, YES!!!!! :)

Didn't say I would prefer it, just something that kinda took me as surprise at seeing it.  If the alternates are more joke themed, I think it would be an interesting idea.

Even though I am not a huge fan of the KoF regulation games, some of the outfits from there would be something else they could go off of.  Can't remember the ones I really liked right now.

Where did you find this pic?  I have never seen Leona in Mai's outfit before.

There are some people starting to get interested in the Orlando area.  I can try to make sure they really want to play, but there seems to be quite a few around here that will want to play XIII.

Hi X_Factor welcome to dreamcancel.com I know I'm getting the game for both systems, we have a thread dedicated to members online info, you should check it out and share your gaming IDs.

I knew there was somewhere I needed to post that.  Thank you. :)
