I do,yes and it really should come to PC though I'm not that much PC Gamer. And I think it should come to Wii U, too. I got wii, and probably got wii U, too.

At the end of this month I'll be going İstanbul and there will be a KoF XIII tournament. I think I'll be checking Athena first then will find two more to make my team. Andy and Kensou looks like the possible candidates. Or Shen and Joe. Who know I will click with. LoL Only got 1 day to practice. When video it I will upload it :D

About devil's advocate. In a recent interview SNK said that they were thinking about a new project (they hinted a fighter). This was one or two months ago so by the time after EVO or at TGS they will likely to announce something. I think nex year they would like to continue riding EVO hype train I'm not holding my breath. But intrigued with  near future.

QuoteFirst things first, just because something takes longer, doesn't automatically make it harder.  Now I'm not a graphic designer, and from the sounds of it, neither are you, and I doubt Killey is so I don't think ANYONE should comment on whether any way is "easy" or not.

And secondly, I doubt SNKP really cares about EVo, so why people assume that they would magically make an announcement around it astounds me.  If we get ANY sort of announcement, it'd be at TGS, and even then I really wish people would shut up hoping for new shit all the time.  I swear, people care more about the hype of new shit than actually playing the game.

I disagree. Getting the product quicker is the part of the easy way.  Bothering with each sprite for months IMHO is not the way of saying lets not bother with hardwork. Anyway I do like how skullgirls look. And it kinda look easier to me. None of us designing stuff so I agree let's not argue deeply about that.

Like Tyrant says it is an assumption that (at least for me), I'm all about hype and not to play. Unfortunately I dont have neither Ps3 nor 360 andI refuse to play bootleg so I couldnt have played XIII/Climax yet. Shame. But My friend and I still play 02UM and XI. When we get hands on XIII/Climax We'll play the shit out of it. Even if we have XIV then.
Anyway high anticipation of mine comes from the concern and excitement of XIII's succes and company's path. There's so many possibilities and concerns, one cannot help to wonder what will be next.

I don't think SG having 8 characters was primarily a budget constraint. I think it was a time constraint because all of the character animations are hand drawn instead of taking the easy way and doing 3d models and tracing over them.
Easy way?  I thought  each character took solid 16 month to complete. I wouldnt say that, an "easy way". By the way I cant wait end of Evo, hopefully it would lead an announcement. I'm really want to see their next legit game. So many possibilities.

He said INSTEAD of taking the easy way.

And why does everyone expect a new game announcement from someone after EVO?
I still stand by what I say. But I wasnt clear. He said skullgirls didnt take the "easy way" and doing 3D models and tracing over. However KOF did take that way and it is not easy way. Each character took solid 16 months to be complete. So assuming that as an easy way comes to me absurd.

Why after evo?  I think its the perfect time or maybe close to the TGS or at the TGS any announcement might interfere with the growing of Climax. I dont know it feels like to be the perfect time.

I dont think they are asleep, I think theyre working on a new project (as SpekSNK' interview pointed).  Also remember the Climax. I think we dont need KOFXIV yet, just 1-2 more DLC character for Climax and consoles (if possible) would be enough to keep going with KOF.
So what should be next? Hmm I loved Garou MOTW, so MOTW2 is good for me. Seeing HD Rock will  impress a lot of fans like schoolgirls (part of me, too ;), I really would like to see HD Dong Hwan and  B. Jenet. But I'm dying to see a new NGBC.
MotW sequel seems logical cause they can create wonders with 12-15 characters (they're hiring so hoping the process would be faster), they could get some money from there, on the other hand NGBC sequel needs a little bit more crowded roster, but with this game inevitable new Snk-Capcom crossover might benefit from the sprites. So for the timeline I'm hoping;

(Meanwhile Climax and hopefully new characters.)
MotW sequel/or better AOF4       -->       NGBC sequel                    -->      KOFXIV -->    SVC sequel by SNK.
                                                  (Meanwhile CVS sequel by Capcom)

Why am I putting crossover to the equation? Crossovers are hot again, KOFXIII changed a lot of opinions and got positive reaction, Capcom is warm to the idea, SNK is warm to the idea. Personally  I (a crazy dream I know) JOJO's Bizarre Adventure Universe vs SNK or  JOJO BA Universe fighting game by SNK. I can only imagine.

You're dreaming, new char will be far more too expensive, if they had some it will be new ex, like robert or yuri i guess.

And snkp didn't show any willingness to add some for now, considering the fact making a new character took them one year from scratch for arcade version, i believe we won't see any for a while.

SNK is one hundred times smaller than Capcom, and 2d games aren't 3d, it's far cheaper and faster to do char on 3d than in 2d.
I dont get this logic. We know that they were working on this game for years. And they had problem with deadlines. So maybe some characters, like maybe agents team or Adel were already had been worked (lets say %70 were done by the time they released the console games) and they might finish the rest during the time. There was even unfinished Winquote art for Adel. This IMHO is the solid proof of there is at least one character meant to be added but not finished apparently.

Well I can say that people who are expecting (more like hoping) for more characters, are not thinking "Great, they announced Climax, so if they start to work on new characters today, there might be three more teams done in two weeks!"

looks like kof sold pretty well during the first week
I wonder if Atlus can confirm this? How could we know how many copies were sold? Could we ever know? I'm asking honestly cause I have no idea.

This review is the best

"Executing combos and special attacks â€" a necessity for winning â€" is nigh impossible, especially with the precision and timing required."

http://gamerant.com/the-king-of-fighters-13-reviews-mole-117537/

Score 1/5

LOL, who did this review? A Wii Sports player?
The most funny thing is he is saying 8 button attack to  any qcf moves. Apparently these are the buttons he is forced to use to progress;  ;bk ;db ;dn ;df ;fd ;ub ;up ;uf plus  ;a ;b ;c ;d. ROFL!

Some good news for us impatient players: KOFXIII is street dated! THis means the game will be in-store on 11/22.
My body is ready.

Mine too! *bro fist*

Wait... that sounds wrong...

There's nothing wrong with that if two are into it ;)

Hey madman I am from cyprus (south europe) am I allowed to sigh up?
Anyone is welcome to sign up. Though if you are in Europe that does mean you'll have to stay up pretty late. If that's something you can deal with then sign up.
Add one more late hour. I'm in Turkiye / Adana and in the same time zone with with Eripio. We're extra one hour late from Central Europe. I would like to sign up but unfortunately I dont own a Ps3 yet.  :/

Nice, KOF-i got updated and it has a new stage:

@SAB-CA: What? SkullGirls artstyle is the shit! Don't say bad things about it! >:(
lol Seriously, I really dig SkullGirls artstyle, it's a fresh take on the genre and I really like what they have done.
The sad part is the producer said something like "when you look at the characters closely you cant see any pixel or whatsoever so its great". As a Pixel art fan it made me unhappy. :(

QuoteAnd I like most of Skullgirls artstyle (I'm a fan of dark, strong outlines, and even their very american use of stuff like squash and stretch for animating), my grievences have more to do with their immature brand of fanservice, and some other details. Even FrameTrap episode 1 had to address some of those issues, lol, and the biggest fans of the game on NeoGAF have reservations over some elements.
Yeah the thing that I dont like is most of the characters looks like hookers on Halloween.

I know it's late, but I just wanted to chime in on the SNKPlaymore debate.

I'd argue that the only classic SNK KOF to stand the test of time has been 98. That's ONE game. Eolith gave us 2002. SNKP has given us 98UM, 2002UM, XI and XIII. And while they're less popular, I would also consider KOF MI2/MIA and KOF XII as among my favorites.

So I challenge the assertion that classic SNK was somehow better at making KOF than SNKP.
Man, I was so dissapointed when they cancelled MI series. MI2 was a good direction in the series they take, we were waiting for MI3, then boom cancelled. Bummer.
I think they should revisit the series and finish the story. If continued I believe it would improve a lot more and gain a lot of fans = make money. IIRC they made money from MI2, too. Shame.

Blog is updated, This time Pao Pao Cafe, Sky Noah, Kyokugen Dojo and Ancient Ruins. Out of ancient ruins all the others has the pic reference, so Ancient Ruins is not a reference to Earthquake's SS2 background?

Btw thinking any other company would handle KOF better than SNKP is crazy. If the companies in question Capcom and Arcsy, then it is pure crazy. Well unless seeing KOF in Fugly SFIV's graphics.  Or with arcsy how many characters will be in KOF? Ten? Twenty?  Snkp had to do it in KoF XII and we saw the results. We didnt like it, crappy netcode and lack of single player didnt help it either.
Dont get me wrong I'm not hater of SF or Blazblue, but I like the way KOF it is, with sprites. Thinking any other company take over and try to make a KOF with sprites is really crazy. No offence. I have crazy ideas, too. I always wanted SNK to make Darkstalkers game after learning Capcom is pretty much done with 2d fighters. But I'm aware it's a day dream, so I wont post time to time "Oh capcom should sell the Darkstalkers to SNK and let'em work 2d's magic on Darkstalkers". No I wont. /End of Rant/

Welcome kofoguz, we're counting on you to grow your local XIII scene then in Turkey!
Thanks,I'm trying for my city but arcade owners here are clueless bastards. I remember in 05/06 I tried to convince them bringing KoF XI back then I even prepare a little gameplay demo back then, but it all goes to vein. They never brought it in Adana.
In here they exchange arcades with PS3 cafe's and the remaining arcades were so outdated. Bigger arcades always bring gimmicky games  with no strategy. Also those 5D/6D movie extravaganza thingies. I'm hoping to open my own arcade someday! Then I could finally brought back the community and grow the local scene.

Thanks Musolini.
I'm from Adana, it's in the south shores. And where I live is a special geographic place we call it Çukurova (Cilician Plain) and let me add here is tropically hot! :D
