 Last night something happened that had me feeling quite good man, i got home around 1:50 in the mourning and i fire up my system and what i saw was a thing of pure beauty, there were 7 of my friends playing the game and the best part is only 4 of those are KOF fans the other 3 got the game because of i told them to get it if they wanted to get a new fighter and they are liking the game so far.

Of the 4 that do play fighters 3 of them are fucking pissed at the way the game is getting reviewed, you see the guys that dont play fighters felt pretty bad because they now think that if you play SF you cannot play KOF because if you go by what the reviewers are saying things like the game is too technical or the learning curve is too steep and this is not for casual players or is too hard for others that are not KOF fans to play the game now the ones that play SF feel that they are being put down too, this is what happened when i got on the mike and listened to what was going on.

So guys did you see the reviews for this game? SFp (street fighter player) i honestly believe that this fucking guys are too busy playing call of duty and just phone in the review i think this game got legs and is pretty good.

Cp (casual player) well personally i think that the reviews can be a bit confusing the way they talked about how this game is to hard for me to learn and that they dont recommended to me because of it is pretty stupid, i have been playing the game for about 3 hours now and is pretty fun, there is a lot of shit that i dont know yet but is only been 3 hours man i know that if a put some time in ill be better at it, the stages are insane.

SFp so what are you saying man that this game is too hard for you or something?

Cp no they said that SF is too simple as if i could not possibly play KOF because is too smart for me but being that im a casual gamer and apparently a dumb fuck i can only play SF, hey wait a minute aren't you into SF and if so do you play it because is so simple?

SFp what watch it man who are you calling simple, SF takes skills too you know.

Cp easy there man i did not call SF simple the reviewers did, i mean i take it they mean SF when they say that KOF is too technical compare to other games, other game being SF yeah? and here i thought that people play that game for other reasons now i know is cuz is for dummies.

The price tag is one thing when you look at the ex characters, but man i have to tell you guys this when you guys see this stages I've seen all 3 already and I gotta be honest with you fellas they are fucking amazing, there is shit going on in this stages that makes me think that SNKP made them like that so when you see them you'll feel like you need to have them, it's almost like they put a little extra sauce on them wait until you see them you'll see what I'm talking about.

Truth be told, I'm more interested to know if it's possible if SNKP plans on updating their previous released games on Live with this netcode. Reason I ask is becuse I read somewhere that SNKP has used the same netcode infrastructure around a lot of their games since supposedly the PS2. But hre's to some hopeful wishing.

And if it is based around the same idea, I wouldn't worry much since the netcode improved so much from KOF12 to the release of NGBC onbox Live who a lot of people don't believe has one of the best online netcodes available.

Oh well, 2 more days for me since I pre ordered it with the soundtrack. Mr Zyn Cobra, I'm assuming you got your copy from that ol trusty mom and pop shop down in the city where they are always selling games 1-2 weeks before due date?

Ohh yes i did get  it  from mom and pop which is also where i been getting my games since 95/96 so to me there is no KOF without them and i thank them for it with my business every chance i get, by the way they got me my copy with the CDs too so im not missing out on anything.

  Word of advice to all those players who did not play the game in the arcades, spend some time in practice mode because this game handles a bit different than any KOF you played before.

Like most of you i did not get a change to play the game in the arcades, and i have played every single entry of the KOF games before also like most of you i spend the days before i got the game playing 02UM and now im playing XIII, i played for a few hours yesterday and i gotta tell you fellas at first i was not able to get anything to come out, me being a vet in this game i thought that maybe there was something wrong either with me or the game but it was simply the flow of the game is quite different than other KOFs ive played before, by the end of my time with the game i was able to get things to come out much better and i know that the more i play and the more used to the system i get things will get better.

So for those of you who have played KOF before but have not played XIII at all give yourself sometime to get used to the flow of the game, as it has its own rhythm. see you guys online.

 Ok fellas i got the game, but before i start playing it i like to do something first, i am a long time SNK fan and i date back to the early 90's so to finally have this game in my hands means the end of a very long journey of waiting.

Now that i dont have to wait anymore to play i like to say something to the DC community and that is thank you very much for everything you guys have done since the game was first announced, thank you for all those vid,trailers,streams,info,posters,big announcements and small, for your informative reports and all things KOFXIII as a fan of this series and franchise for a long time it is nice to now that there are places like this where i can come and interact with other fans of this great fighting franchise.

I know that this may be off topic but i would have felt like a complete and total asshole if i did not give props to this site and others like it so to every single person that has to do with DC thank you very much and keep up the good work guys, i wish that the game does well in sales because i think its a great fighter and any fighting fan will probably find something that he or she might like about KOFXIII see you all online.

ON my way to get my copy of the game if anyone else in the NYC area wants to get the game (no music cd) just the game for both systems let me know and i'll tell you where.

i'll give you my impressions of the game later today or tonight laters.

 Ok fellas here is something i just found there is a podcast from Gametrailers.com called invisible walls they are talking about KOF XIII in this weeks episode check it out if you feel like it.

They talked about UMVC3, SoulcaliburV and KOFXIII now the cool thing is that they start talking about XII and how incomplete it was which is something we can all agreed is true, that said they talked about all the improvements and how complete XIII feels over XII they dont really say anything bad about the game other than the fact that its more technical than your average fighter, which is something we can all agreed with as well they even say that the netcode is improved over XII.

Now this is not the site i would go to find out about a fighter as it seems only 2 of the guys played the game and they are telling the others how it feels to play XIII, but if you listen to what they are saying and how they describe the game, saying that there is a lot to like here and that they had a very good time playing it that is pretty cool.

Now if a site like this one is saying good things about XIII which does not surprise me not even a little bit because i now that this game is the real deal, it will probably help those still in the fence about it and just pick it up, this site is not known for fighters at all and if even them are giving props to XIII that is cool with me

I dont want every site to just bend over and start kissing KOFXIII ass but at least i like the fact that they showed respect for XIII both as a fighter and as a product.

I'll be getting this puppy tomorrow and if its playing like SF4 before launch than thats cool with me, we wont get the best netcode ever but we dont need the best netcode either now do we.

SF4 seem to do pretty well with the netcode that now everyone seems to think its shit so again im cool with all of this.
of course you gotta give it to SRK in less than a week they have put out 2 reports about the netcode that have people shitting their pants i love that, but to each is own i guess.
at this point i dont care what anyone puts out the king is coming home and is coming home strong man of that there is no doubt.
as long as i can play with players withing my region im cool with that, so if SF4 is what we are getting you can call me a happy camper then. i'll give you guys my impressions of the code tomorrow so peace out.

 I'm cool with not picking the stage and have the game randomly pick it for me, you see there's not a stage that I don't like and they all look prety impressive so is all good, plus this means more time fighting and less time waiting for the player host to pick the stage.

It's call Gameworld up in NYC. They get the games early so if you are up in the NY area the Bronx to be specific they'll hook you up no problem, but remember it's the game only no CDs.

   Ohhhh shit man i just got a call today from the store i usually buy games from and they told me they'll be getting the game this saturday, but only the game no bonus CD.

I had already preorder at the cave where the devil himself takes the biggest dumps or as the call it ( GAMESTOP ) shit man i fucking hate that place, but i had no choice because it was either them or amazon for the preorder and the thing with amazon is that for some reason they never deliver on time.

I preorder 2 copies of the game one for me and one for my best friend so i call him up and asked him what he thought about it and he said that he be too busy all weekend working so i could just cancel my preorder and we can still keep his so that way i can play the game this weekend and we can still get the CDs.

Shiiiit man the thought of me playing the king this weekend is just fucking awesome oooohhhhhh yeahhh bitchessssssss.

Some good news for us impatient players: KOFXIII is street dated! THis means the game will be in-store on 11/22.

Now that is just great to hear my good man, so this means that the game had gone gold for sure.
