Long time SNK fan.  Even bigger Billy Kane fan.

Yeah, so, I couldn't find the "Meet & greet" thread... but I would like to share a little of what I've been doing on the
KOF scene with my fellow KOF fans.  So here it is...

I come from a small but avid group of fighting game fans who are very active here in South Africa, we have been at competitive fighting gaming ever since we could touch the arcade controls ato our local arcades and Cafés.  All the arcades are all but empty these days, but our fighting spirit has not dulled at all.
We have formed a new "Arcade culture" with the advent of our "Cape Town Showdown fighting tournaments" organised by another member of our group, SAPhoenix.  He has taken the task of reviving the fighting game scene seriously, with an ethic that puts the gaming and culture first.
The result is something that follows the spirit of EVO, with our own South-African flavour.
